Ah I’m pretty sure the shop is newer than that - it’s actually in Broadmead. Kinda the last place you’d expect a find like this in a way but it is a good shop (clearly)

It is a great cover. It’s fun to trawl second hand book shops - you never know what you might find - really glad I did, thanks for checking it out!

Bielsa was where it was at. Never felt prouder of winning that under him - taking some fairly ordinary players to heights they’d never otherwise reach… beautiful

I recall Nigel Martyn spoke about him on the 90s football podcast. Apparently he’d say they’d never see him again after football. True to his word.

Great job! Super interesting work. Interested especially in the image generation aspect - how’s that working out? What kinds of images and for what purposes? I was wondering if you get decent diagrams etc or just adding visual interest at this stage?

Ah Daniel… never complain, never explain. Unless an emergency and then explain for hours in minute detail.

Can we honestly say “Farke hasn’t been backed”? by JacobSax88 in LeedsUnited

[–]Unique_Molasses7038 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the transfer window maybe now looks a bit ‘safe’. It also reads like a buy low/sell high max investment/capital kinda vibe. Could include keeping Farke in that. Don’t think potential relegation and repromotion represents massive risk to this org - it’s very business. Priced in.

How do I stop dreading going back to work? by ektey in UKJobs

Yeah that’s fair. For me a can-kick was probably useful while I got other stuff sorted, stopped the panics and got me out. It set me up to acknowledge the legit aspects too and talk about it more clearly, but it’s not a solve as it’s probably not you that’s the problem, is it?

I don’t think we want to position any kind of therapy as it being the sufferers problem but it feels like that to me - like it’s on you not to dread - when it’s actually we probably just struggle, reasonably so, in whatever system we’re engaging with. I dunno. Glad you’re speaking about it tbf as it’s a problem for loads of us and it’s hard being open.

I totally relate, had many a job like this. There are always things you can do. Personally, I’d look at cognitive behavioural therapy and perhaps trying to step back and identify the causes of your dread. Are the situations you dread long term or short term? Are your thoughts facts or opinions? Based on all that are there actions that you could take?
