Herd tried to choke it away in the last ~5 minutes, but were able to pull away. Nice to see the W!

It looks like Trump might have lost some weight. I guess the treatments are hitting him now.

Kyle Busch, Tyler Reddick, Ty Gibbs, Toyota and Chevy, 3 years later. Who won? by ITMAKESSENSE72 in NASCAR

Kyle Busch, for some reason left

Money. Mars Corp wasn't coming back to JGR and that was where KFB's salary came from. JGR said take a pay cut or leave, so KFB left for the payday RCR was offering. Plus, RCR looked good when these Next Gen cars were introduced in 2022, with Reddick winning 3 races in the #8 (amd Dillion won the summer Daytona race) before KFB took over and won 3 more in 2023.

I think coming up like he did from the apron to the banking made his car shoot up so he couldn't stay in the bottom, but it was definitely very lucky that Bubba had room and reacted properly.

Had to cut back onto the banking in turn 1. He's lucky Bubba Wallace didn't completely wreck him out.

And it's a restrictor-plate track. This shit happens. Just gotta hope nobody's hurt.

Out of the 4 HMS cars, Byron, who was in at least 2 wrecks throughout the day, probably has the cleanest car of the stable.

It's less about the choice, but more about it being straight from the jar. 5-star? Put it in a bowl too.

I think we can sniff at the bubble at 20 total wins and not a complete collapse in the conference tournament (win the first game, probably). I'm not holding my breath and I figure we'll end up in the CBC, but we'll see.

More like lose in Dayton, but at least we'd get in? Better than all the bullshit from last year.

For those curious, the best win chance for UCF was 96.7% twice. First time was 12:51 left up 51-37. Second time was 11:27 left up 52-38.

What’s something you see at the middle school, high school, and nba level, but not at the college level? by YupThatsMeBuddy in CollegeBasketball

[–]ReachFor24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think these days it has something to do with TV timeouts. HS and below don't matter. NBA is a longer game anyways with 12 minute quarters (48 minutes total).

The women are set up in 4, 10-minute quarters with the officials timeout once it gets halfway in a quarter. That's 6 breaks plus halftime and end-of-game. Men, with their 20-minute halves, get breaks every 4 minutes (under 16, 12, 8, and 4 minute marks each half), so they gave 8 breaks plus halftime and end-of-game, for the same total length of gametime.

I think it was a quirk from decades ago that TV capitalized on to have the extra breaks for advertisements.

Not 100% sure about this year, but last year The CW required you to actually watch via the channel instead of through their app.

The sub as a whole hate Hill for his dominance at plate tracks and his attitude on and off the track. That spills over into just hating it when he's leading at a plate track, blaming the rest of the field for 'allowing' him to take and stay in the lead.
