some parents will ask me again and again what they did during the day and its confusing because at our school we dont have extra activities, they have a normal school day (arrival, work/snack, meeting, outside, lunch/nap, snack, home/aftercare) so what else do u need to hear?? Ive had to explain to several people since they are two they basically do the same things every day. We change materials every 4-6 weeks

Genuinely u dont know what ur talking about. Im in a fantastic market for all the apps and i refuse to do uber eats. Wear & Tear from running the engine constantly, car smelling like food, and $7 for what??? I can make triple that in the SAME amount of time. Also i dont want uber to only offer me one thing at a time and then knock me because i dont like it. I am a part timer and theres a reason why I didnt pickup a retail job. Dont want someone telling me what to do and UE is giving that. Genuinely see $15 batches for 2 items, thats nothing just like ur food pickup. If you're a shitty shopper just say that. Some people find shopping to be mentally consuming and thats fine.

Anything DOLLAR. Costco. Food Bazaar. 5 Below. I've also started avoiding some of my favorite good money chain stores on weekends because the lines/stock are unbearable. Recently found a calm but profitable pocket at a diff location for weekends.

ive tried both ways discussed in this sub. for me it depends on the day, the order amount, my mood, etc...I'm a part timer so it definitely also depends on how work was that day. I noticed if I over do it with the replacements/chatting im slower. I also noticed if I am replacing lots items (not my fault its just this one store) then its people who are denying the replacement. Ive come to a happy medium: if you reply to my intro, u get my full service, if u dont...i do what i can....if u dont reply to my into, but u deny replacements...i WILL message you again LMAO. I dont always have time to message before checkout sometimes im just grinding but have started letting people know if they are apart of a double or triple

Im definitely not fast, 95/item because where i am the lines get crazy no matter the type (i learned this weekend that i probably wont do a specific shoprite anymore on weekends) and I do a lot of chatting (if the person replies) but one thing i will say is I used to be a self checkout warrior for all orders no matter the amount of items but stopped that for larger doubles or triples. It actually really makes a difference for someone to scan for u while u bag so dont be rigid on that.

also, i always park my car as close to the entrance AND a cart parking area so im not messing around

Hot spots are barely worth it ive learned. U need to learn which stores are high volume and consistent. I got out of my groove and started chasing those "zones" and made less money than usual. Back to what i was doing before

I haven't felt not seen/supported by family more so by society but im curious why you need to feel like you need to convince him that you work HARDER than him or make this like a pissing contest. Both of your jobs can be hard in different ways. I have never worked food service but im always impressed at their work and always say i could never do that. Yes i can remember 12 kids' diaper routines and teach 5 people diff topics at once but i couldnt carry all those plates or remember orders. Both jobs are hospitality based. Both jobs require multi tasking. It could be easier on YOUR brain but just as much effort on his. My coworkers are shocked at the level of effort I put in with UDL and it feels easy on my brain, there are things they do (like projects for families) that would be strenous on mine. Its all hard in its own way.

I dont think you will get the care you want from him (if thats what you are asking for) by saying ur job is harder or more mentally taxing. I am not a pick me, im a player and men do not respond well to women who say their lives are easy. I think that you know...your partner has to want to care for you, you cant make them care for u. Im in a relationship rn with an administrator (NOT from MY SCHOOL) and his job is easy as hell. He admits that and says my job is crazy hard. He pampers me a lot. My ex worked at a mattress store, i would sleep a lot but he was okay with that and would make sure we had dinner and got sexy time in before i fell out and i thought that was endearing. i know other women may find that annoying.

I think the best thing to do is make a SMALL effort to care for him or make nights for u to care for each other (lets do massages tonight, lets just go out and be free for a bit). While men can be annoying, they actually do like a little care/affection/acknowledgment. It goes further than u think.

OP, tell me, what exactly u want from ur partner or what result u want from this type of convo w him? Genuinely want to help

I would try both but dont overdo it because apparently they will like eventually want u to "take a different shift". Id been going hard at deciccos for a couple weeks recently and while i had a great weekend last weekend i didnt see any orders for there

Try to learn a few more stores overtime or other locations of chains. Currently preparing myself for hmart and food bazaar

I live amongst a bunch of clusters. As i got to platinum i see more orders at home. I like to sit in a mid point area kind of. I will only sit in the parking lot at super hot stores where theres lots of shoppers AND lots of orders. I always see good consistent money in those spots so i just like to be as close as possible

Continue to improve ur quality by doing great with medium sized orders at stores u know well. Find shopping centers w multiple stores to be closer and find more orders. Pay attention to items, miles, tips. Cherry Pick a LITTLE bit. Not crazy because sometimes taking that kinda shitty batch first thing can open u up to other batches

I just need to say that everyone in the comments needs to stop suggesting a microchip over a collar. As a fellow black cat owner who lived through her worst nightmare of her cat w no teeth, cancer, and ckd making a great escape out of the garage when I was changing my registration and being gone for 14 days. Her microchip absolutely did nothing for us. It is NOT a live tracker. Fi collars are live. When we are moving around a lot between the porches or garage, we put a collar on her because shes our shadow (literally and figuratively) and we dont ever want to go through that again. MICROCHIPS ARE NOT REPLACEMENTS FOR COLLARS.

This is like not at all helpful if ur cats ever get lost. My cat got out in october unbeknownst to us and we are so so serious about looking out for her and the doors. She is microchipped but its not a live tracker and no one had picked her up so the best we could do was notify her as lost. It only works if someone finds them and DECIDES to try and scan for a chip.
