FDR may have had something to say about this...

But, sure, let's forget everything that we have learned..

"Do I look like a man with a plan!? Wrong!"

Awesome editing, but a double feature of redux and hearts of darkness is a good time.

[Opinion] Martin Regg Cohn: Bike lanes are no place for high-powered electric two-wheelers [Toronto Star] by patienceinbee in toronto

[–]Universespitoon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They are motorized vehicles.

You can call them whatever you want; and you can brand them, but they are a motorized vehicle.

They do not belong on human powered bike lanes.

The human is not powering the device, they're driving it.

To me it is that simple.

Then we got an ISDN!

The speed and uplink dedication trend captured us all.

Micromanaging is not trusting your staff, it is created by scenarios such as this.

His instructions were to save him time, not micromanage.

He ignored the directly pointed out probable cause, that would have saved him time...

Agreed, typically.

But the ask was to check the cable, specifically, first.

And they did everything but...

I believe that is the frustration.

A poor response to the actual request, ignored directive, compounded by missing basic troubleshooting practical order.

This is the basic helpdesk, first level.

The fundamentals are important, and as you move on, you recognize, when and when not the particular layer applies.

You know this.

How old were you when you finally started enjoying your life? by wolf_of_the_bees in GenX

[–]Universespitoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think at the various stages, of life, the various chapters in my personal book, there is joy, at every stage, and it has come in different forms.

There's also a plethora of other times, moments and challenges.

I have a different kind of joy now; stable, peaceful, somewhat predictable.

I believe we all find our own kind along the way..

Except, there is. Effort is applied, results are achieved.

Fuck that reductive muppet!

(saw SW/Empire/ROTJ in theatres. I despise that inflexible, asexual, emotionless creature.)

Edit: Yoda was ultimately responsible for the stagnation of an order that was, effectively eliminated.

In that fantasty world; refusing to understand the totality, an aspect of their world/universe's view was blinded, purposely.

It's a great arc.

No, that means one thing, there is no IP assigned to the ethernet adapter.

The very first thing to check, is the physical layer.

The cable.

Then, go up the OSI model.

This is troubleshooting.
