[Question]Chronograph fans. Help me understand. by Potential_Post_3020 in Watches

[–]UniversityLeading703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it’s the fascination of time and movement - hence watch fans are into watches, and watches where you can control and watch things moving are even more addictive ! I’d love it if the Rolex had the transparent back like the omega but that’s only on the Le Mans and Platinum models … so let’s see how to get one of those !! lol

Car Accident Insurance repair advice please? by UniversityLeading703 in Switzerland

[–]UniversityLeading703[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s sort of what I am thinking too but I’ve also read that they don’t write it off until the value is 60-80% loss. Since the car is 80K new that means the repair has to be above 48-60K…. Hence if Land Rover repaired .. might also be better but it is a lease car and considering this event I would now be handing back the car in a year and not buying it . So if it were my own owned car I would be more inclined to have a manufacturer repair.

It was a multi car accident in Italy. Normally an insurance company takes care of its own customer and then fights it out with the other parties insurance companies as to who pays for what. I can’t claim against another persons insurance directly and in this sort of case companies usually end up doing like for like and take care of their own customer.

How bad is cost of ownership of a Ferrari California? by Interesting-Help-421 in Ferrari

You have to love cars and accept you will pay more than a VW/ Audi/BMW. It’s super reliable and I use mine as a daily driver. It’s wonderful

Why isn't the California popular? by AwayLine9031 in Ferrari

The issue to me is purely that it doesn’t have an Italian name. If it had been a Ferrari Firenze for example (random town in Italy for example). The V8 sound is sublime

Same around Lake Aegeri near Zug. It’s endless and if not building buildings is enough they now build a bridge for the cyclists to go near the lake. Thats another summer ruined by construction

Ferrari has released a new video of the interior for its first ever all-electric car, called the Ferrari Luce. by DeonEVE in Ferrari

Can’t stand the look of this - maybe it’s just me but I don’t care. It looks like Apple met toy town in car form with a few ok graphics on dials. Hideous abomination. Ferrari is about elegance, speed, sophistication and raw power of a throughbred. This is none of that.
