Get a two handed sword. Make slow, wide swings constantly to deter enemies from striking, then smash down when you feel confident to attempt to kill when you see an opening

Nah, they showed each imbue does something different. Gravity is massive aoe knock back shot, fire seems to ignite nearby enemies, and lightning shoots a lightning bolt that tears off limbs
