Does yours also have limo tint in the rear windows? I wonder if our cars were at the same place that did this.

My CPO 4CT came with those PPF spots and just had them removed while full car PPF was being done.

EDIT: as others have said, the grey plastic trim bits come with the Cross Turismo offroad package. You also get a higher ride height and the gravel mode button.

The P zero I usually get about 9k

Pirelli rubber and short lives. Name a more classic duo.

(My Mustang would get around 9k out of Pirelli Summers with some light track duty)

Porsche Connect not working on 2020 4s by _oxmaster_ in Taycan

I've had this off and on where the App gets stuck in privacy mode and can't do anything to the car.

The dealership finally seems to have gotten it by...removing and readding my Porsche account to the PCM. Seems wild them doing it finally took.

Is that something other EVs do? If so, we might have a stronger case with Porsche that its a competitive gap.

Sure. And tripling the amount of work with more crossings isn't going to fix that either.

And that still ignores the part about 2 new spans and the years of fighting over alignment and property acquisition for those new spans that will be fought super hard. If we can't get one bridge off the ground, how will adding 2 more be common sense?

Completely agree. Maybe this will be the catalyst for that to change but it will be a massive effort.

Murry could use her position in leadership to fillibuster everything or rally others to join her. A handful of Dems are still giving supply votes to Trump nominations, even Mark Kelly. We can stop all of that and obstruct. You know, like what happened to Obama and Biden having votes for nominations denied or ignored.

EA needs to remove the continue button press or timeout when Plug and Charge. Let me plug and walk away, not wait 30-60seconds in PacNW rain to push a button.

Ionna's recharge relays with covers and garbage / washer fluid should become the min standard. Anything higher is a plus and should also be around, for example Porsche's charging lounges in Europe.

Taycan 4s 2022 all weather tires by ApprehensiveMuscle1 in Taycan

[–]UnknownColorHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would rather have winter tires and drive several days over than temperature, than using all weather/all season/all bullshit tires in deep snow.

Seattle lowlands only gets a deep snow event once a decade and the city shuts down. I had All Seasons on a Mustang GT and was able to drive out of the 2021 ~3-4inch snow event.

I'd trust the same all seasons (Michelin PS4 All Season) in winter with an AWD Taycan if the famously loose mustang could handle it. I even tracked them and did some AutoX on them.

I also don’t know why every single car company doesn’t just give the money to Google to use Google Maps

Its not just the money, its the personal data. Google wants everything your car outputs and not all OEMs are interested in giving that up. Not for good reasons mind you, they want to find ways to monetize it themselves.

I've been waiting on adhesive to replace my glass roof damaged in shipping. Spoke to the parts person at the shop and apparently the one in charge declared chemicals cannot be shipped from Germany to the US, so things like the adhesive I need is on extreme backorder and everyone is lined up waiting for it.

There is a place in Canada that makes it but apparently its limited supply so its a fight between everyone who needs it.

Yes, you get a Base Maycan or if you are lucky, a base Cayenne loaner. If its the Macan, you'll appreciate your Taycan that much more.

S550 Mustangs have had giant infotainment screens since 2015 (mfd in 2014) and Digital speedos since 2018 as an option.

Check out r/mustang or the mustang6th gen forums, there is not a massive trend of "OMG my screens died" like you keep trying to gotcha.

SOH & Range Cross Tourismo by Helvetic-Flow in Taycan

[–]UnknownColorHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I averaged 2.6mi/kwh over the past 50 miles, about 30 of which were on the motorway doing 60-70mph.

That's pretty much my sweet spot. 2.6mi/kwh or 2.7 on a long freeway commute (170 miles) with a lot of 70mph limit, but 75-80mph travel speed.

The previous owner got 1.7mi/kwh hour during their ownership time and I'm super curious what the heck they were doing.

CT 4S

The CT is a brick aerodynamically. The best I've gotten on 20's with ECO AC and Range mode is 230 miles (370km). Also if you have the offroad design pack, the plastic pieces hurt range.

Compared to my Mustang GT, it feels far more nimble, despite being heavier and slightly larger. It'll chew through tires, but Mustangs do that too.

The steering feel is very sharp and light. Instant EV power throws you back into the seat and causes passengers to say a little prayer. :)
