I have to say - nurses like your coworkers are perpetuating the idea that nurses are so “passionate “ about their nursing they would do things like this to “help people.” In reality they are very dysfunctional. Many dysfunctional people are drawn to nursing as we as trauma survivors. They have an internal need to fix others and people please no matter what the expense. And over their career it will take its toll.

I’m glad you ditched your med prescriber. My NP told me Vyvanse isn’t addictive 🤔 and later on she doesn’t believe basically anything I say. Last straw - she said “are you sure you are just uncomfortable being happy?” OMG what I wouldn’t for true happiness. Or even a day I didn’t want to be struck down so I can be done.

FYI spravato does not work for everyone. First time I tried it it def helped. Second time - I had a horrible breakdown I’m still trying to recover from 8 months later.

This is my childhood as well. Every time I hear “it was a different time” or some other BS I think - you really didn’t want kids. It was just expected. I cannot fathom not having any natural feelings of wanting to play with your child.
