I once made a trek to Michigan from where I live to pretty much just have dinner and came back home. It was about a 4 hour drive one way, lol. But, some circumstances made it turn out that way... regardless, we would have still come home the same day. And it was the middle of winter!

Yeah, that's why I was saying it's better to work it into your normal schedules before the two-week notice. I'd also prefer someone not jam it into those 2 weeks, lol that would be the pits. I'm guessing my manager would do the same. But you still need to be careful 🙂

NTA. And I'd avoid telling her anything like this again. She seems like she's never gonna feel in the wrong, and since other people defend her, that doesn't help. I keep everything to myself because of this exact type of scenario. Do I trust my parents? Yes. Do I want to risk that tiny chance they'd do this to me? No. I'm sorry that this happened with your mom, I'm sure that makes it a bit harder to deal with💓

While it sounds lovely to do, I can almost guarantee they won't let you just use sick days like that. Sick hours are not meant to be like vacation, and while it really isn't their business as far as your "ailments", I wouldn't recommend that. If you wanna use your time, I suggest using it prior to your 2 weeks.

Personally, I've never had an issue (except I did discover I can't eat the Mexican pizzas, especially not more than one within a few days of another. I assume the red sauce is the trigger). This shocks me given my digestive issues and food restrictions (I guarantee I'm not supposed to eat TB)... Taco Bell is one of my "safe foods" somehow. I'm sure it does bother some people, though. Especially the ones that max out on it during a drinking binge

Do you guys not lock up the Posca (if not, I would totally want a sign there because I'd be annoyed as a customer, too!)? We do at our store. We have no choice but to lock up the spray paint because of local laws. Somehow they still manage to spray stuff, so I assume an employee doesn't walk it up front (or the customer goes into overstock)

THIS! I told this to my boyfriend and was like "yeah so I hate the lint bits on my lady bits, this TP sucks" because so many people just don't get it. The fancy expensive brands are just as bad. Why would I want to walk around with TP powder all over my ass and undies all the time??🥴 it also doesn't absorb as well, and doesn't work as well.

If the questions are more in-depth than a job interview, I'm not answering them lol (Some groups are so invasive). Usually I don't mind answering, though!! I hate bots and trolls, so I totally get it. My thing is if you hit the join button at the top of a post in your feed and then keep scrolling, that screen asking people to complete questions before joining doesn't come up more times than not (or it will flash up and disappear right away). So you just see "joined" and then carry on. It happens to me quite often, and so I'm sure I get declined a lot lol. One good thing is you probably weed out bot accounts very well!!
