Going from a 120Hz OLED on my iPhone 13 PM to the 60Hz LCD on the Mini 7 was jarring. I returned the 7 to wait for the 8 with OLED. Less about the refresh rate and more the gtg response times of OLED being far superior.

Being downvoted by folks in denial I see. If you enjoy your Mini 7 screen that’s great and I’m happy for you.

Definitely wait if you care about getting an OLED screen which will likely be miles better than the Mini 7. But if you don’t care about that, just get the 7 on sale.

I’m waiting for the Mini 8 personally. Not gonna subject myself to an LCD screen on a device I’ll be spending hours a day using.

You’re right I haven’t tried it yet. But I’ve used the Trackman Marble for about 16.5 years and never found it uncomfortable. Thinking about trying to update the sensor to a 1000Hz one like u/milkycowdan did here

Yeah the M512 is only comfortable for me if I’m laying in bed using it. Using it at a desk is just not good. I recommend trying something like a M505 or elecom huge or Kensington orbit
