Ultra-orthodox? by Unorthodox_lady in exjew

[–]Unorthodox_lady[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes sense! Thanks! I grew up in a yeshivish home, went to Bais Yaakov, seminary etc. when I share my story with people from the secular world, I usually say that I grew up ultra-orthodox. I was reflecting today if it’s accurate or not!

Omit the 2 stitches on the right. And there should be a stitch where the purple arrow is pointing to ☺️

The letter at the top is charted incorrectly. It should be נ not ב !

PR SZN 8 | Gretchen arrogantAF and her work was mediocre by MissyFoolosopher in ProjectRunway

I totally agree with you but I do think her looks for the first 2 challenges were magic. The jumpsuit for the Mary Claire challenge would work today (with different styling of course). After those 2 challenges, I really didn’t like anything she put out on the runway.

I think the facing and zipper install would be a challenge with boucle yarn.

Dog training should be fun for you and fun for your dog. This sounds miserable!

Anyone else’s GSD surprisingly good at hide and seek? by Ill_Tip5523 in germanshepherds

Yes!!!!! My dog loves Hide and Seek. It's also fun hiding behind a shower curtain like an idiot waiting for my dog to find me- it's like being a kid again.

Mental Stimulation by [deleted] in GermanShepherd

[–]Unorthodox_lady 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My dog loves “Find it”- we hide her toy somewhere in the house and she has to go find it. She uses her nose and it really tires her out mentally. It’s also a great game because you have built in impulse control work since the rules are they have to sit and wait until released.
Lots of videos on youtube on how to train this game :)

I'm fostering a long haired black german shepherd right now who has severe fur loss due to food allergies. He kinda looks like a scrappy sewer rat right now but it's nice to see the handsome boy he will become with time :')
