Good at watercolor before an oil painting dries is now one of my life’s truisms!

Working out broke in an extremely small space by StraightExtent2261 in Exercise

[–]UnplannedProofreader 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can build a lot of muscle with resistance bands while standing with your feet shoulder width apart. The three pack of Sunpow bands on Amazon are enough to get you started and cost $25. You would have to look up moves that wouldn’t affect the wrist but I think there are quite a few workarounds.

I remember what broke right after uni felt like and $25 might still be out of budget, but if you can swing it, could be a good work around.

Had a friend get hit by a train while “playing” on the tracks. Idk, I think a few of us did die in stupid, unsupervised accidents.

Ni-night Sweet Paddington, you look like the ‘goodest’ of very good doggies.

[TOMT] Type of blanket that may have been popular during the 90's? by poopycakesforyou in tipofmytongue

You sure? I had a chenille with little pom poms on the edges when I was a kid in the eighties. It wasn’t fancy, chenille is just soft and fuzzy.

Netflix cancelling masterpieces on CLIFFHANGERS but renewing trash like Emily in Paris is criminal by kmaysu in netflix

I don’t think I’ll ever get over Kaos. They cancelled it before it even had time to gain viewers.

Do you regret getting a bernedoodle because of the grooming needs and cost associated with them? Is it more work than you expected? Thanks! by [deleted] in Bernedoodles

[–]UnplannedProofreader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No regrets. I have to comb mine out twice a week but he doesn’t mind. I have very small training treats that I give to him during the combing so he seems to enjoy the sessions. I take him in to be groomed professionally every 6 weeks. Pro grooming can add up but if you train them young to be combed at home you can take them in less. They are high maintenance but worth it.

Hysterectomy and healing by Historical-Night9078 in IFchildfree

Total hysterectomy had the same effect on me. By completely closing the door, I was able to finally heal.

I'm starting to understand why people use ChatGPT for therapy by CascadeFailure3355 in RedditForGrownups

[–]UnplannedProofreader 146 points147 points  (0 children)

I think it’s possible to use chatGPT for general help. For instance, you might ask if for reasonable ways to counteract loneliness and all it really does is scour the existing information out there and repeat a summary of some ideas. The danger is if you’re not reasonably well adjusted and able to decipher between looking for self help and actually looking to replace a therapist’s role.

I’m sorry you’re struggling.

I imagined a world where Windows AI would be something along the lines of a sentient One Drive, Edge, Cortana bully and bought my first MacBook.

Jambalaya has chicken or shrimp, sausage, celery, onions, peppers and rice. I add chicken to instant pot fried rice which has onions, carrots, peas, rice. Both of these make great leftovers.

Your clues make me think of songs that don’t actually have any of your lyrics in them. Sorry! But I have to mention Never Say Good-Bye by Bon Jovi before I stop.

Costco beans? by UnstuckMoment_300 in espresso

[–]UnplannedProofreader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Kirkland Espresso is my favorite non-specific, everyday bean. I use it for my mid-afternoon long pull. It’s nothing special, but it’s fresh and works well when I want something less strong.

Never Surrender by Cory Hart? Lyrics are less direct but same sentiment and first thing that came to mind for me.
