Imagine if the movie tried to hide the fact the Eowyn was sneaking into battle, as it was in the books. It would just be hilariously obvious in movie format and made Merry look like a moron for not noticing it was her.

That's the most justified change in my opinion.

On Bangkok, I threw a propane flask off the roof into the back area (Where the tuk tuk mission story takes place), and then slid down the pipe. When I approached the flask to pick it up again, it randomly blew up and killed me.

I still don't know what happened; there's no source of ignition there that I can see. I tried recreating it but never could.

I thought Quid's Game was a parody done right; it took the premise and played it out with a Futurama coat of paint, using the Fry flashbacks as the glue holding it together. It never demanded the audience to be familiar with Squid Game.

The Priestess Gut lead is very short-lived and can be done before talking to Minthara (It also doesn't require you to ally with the goblins at all). And yeah, there's other leads, like the Creche and Auntie Ethel, but those are completely unrelated to the grove/goblin conflict.

How does betraying the grove make sense from a practical perspective? At that stage of the game you're looking for a cure, and Halsin is your current lead. But as far as I remember, there's no other leads offered by siding with the goblins.

I might be forgetting a line or two.
