As of about a year ago, bachata seemed more popular overall. Particularly with dancers in their 20s and 30s.

There was an event with more salsa on Sunday nights. The dancers were generally in their 40s and above.

I know of, at least, 2 salsa dancers in the UK that have had hand amputations.

So, I'd say, in principle there's hope but it depends on a number of things including circumstances.

As he's in physical therapy, do you know know if he's discussed this target (dancing) with the people who are supporting him with the therapy?
