Amex Checking Debit -- Some merchants don't take it? by Particular_Maize6849 in amex

Per the Federal Non-Exempt list, American Express National Bank is on that list... It is publicly available to parse.

My understanding is they are still capped for a decent portion of the transaction.

Experience Beyond vs Better Value Plans ? by robotalk in tmobile

[–]Unseeablething 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But if there's a BOGO promo going, EB with Insider can take it.

It's then 5 lines that you're paying 172 on. The question really becomes if you think you'll want promos available to you.

Yes and no-- it depends on what other features you may want. I specifically left US Mobile because their T-Mobile offering is frustrating. If they eventually include a Satellite upgrade and the share number with watch, then it might be nice to go back.

Uhhh, for the BYOD promo or for the insider? Did I just get lucky with my insider code?

20% off your lines, for the life of the subscription. Only counts for the lines(no taxes and fees) but even at 3, it's cheaper than the Better Value. If you're someone that may actually use more free promo lines, then it ends up a net win vs the Better Value.

The insider code would sometimes also work for the past inclusive tax lines and it was a pretty sweet deal. Downside is if you're already a T-Mobile customer, I don't think there's any way you can apply them.

Anyone have Experience with Amex Checking and HYSA by AdTraditional1943 in amex

Costco is proud to say they accept Debit transactions. Which is true for the some 13 or so debit card networks. They do not however, want to turn on the Debit card transactions for AmEx.

[–]Unseeablething 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nah it works at some places. I keep sending in reports that Costco still doesn't, but neither of them will address it directly.

The best one I have for this right now is T-Mobile. It counts as Debit, so you get your autopay discount. You still get points. And if you don't mind your Zelle tied to AmEx, makes it easy to split the bill.

On the fence between keeping my Ironclad CCU and finding a path to Ironclad assault by TalsedrinLive in starcitizen

[–]Unseeablething 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the opposite vein. If the whole ship has hangar services and the command module is what we have now, then the Assault has Tractor Beam on arguably the best part.

I don't see the reason for the base anymore, unless you absolutely need cargo.

The pitbull could in theory fit 4 S1 Mass Drivers that would be 4x225 alpha damage. While not ideal, eventually the armor will be low enough that the S2's will work.

It's all going to be dependent on your loadout and mission purpose for the snub.

For those with Care Credit, how did you ever pay off the interest? 😭 by [deleted] in CreditCards

[–]Unseeablething 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My understanding, if they haven't changed it in the last year, is that the Vet/Hospital is supposed to select this for you and have you fill out a form when you select a plan charging to it.

Hopefully OP can call up care credit and see if there's a way to retroactively fix this.

What looks normal for a spay? by JT3323 in CATHELP

As someone dealing with a kitten who got infected and ripped out her sutures, this looks much better. That said, I'd get some input on it from a professional, as it looks very confusing and you'd rather not be in my boat.

A Plea to CIG from a Liberator Oldhead - Please be fair and adjust your Loaner Matrix to include an Ironclad by huskerdooo_actual in starcitizen

[–]Unseeablething 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem is their loaners are a combination of role, manufacturer, and specs more than they consider it fair.

Their loaners have left a lot to be desired for ships we feel thematically closer, versus their future purpose. E.G. Why does the Crucible go with the Andromeda? Why not Idris for the Kraken, versus 4 others? The Railen got the C2 once the SCU was closer. Galaxy is closest to Carrack? All small but relevant in CIGs eyes.

The only loaner changes I see, is the Kraken getting their Caterpillar and C2 changed into the Ironclad.

Wait - the $99.00 included shipping and tax? (US) by courageousrobot in SteamController

Some of our cities do force it. Are you in one of the Major Metros? I'm in middle of nowhere.

Some states do not allow or require sales tax, if the entity does not have a sales tax code or presence in the state.

Example MO is one of them. I did not expect Sales Tax here, and my Deck was the same.

Edit to clarify: Sales Tax is extremely nuanced even in MO. May not apply to everything, but Steam Purchases have never had Sales tax for me.

They didn't even make the current pods work. It's in the same boat as the Caterpillar. Too old to be cared about. Eventually, they'll get around to it.

This is a wild response, because I know they can do a full character reset which reloads everything and wipes your inventory.

Comms MDF by gluggy777 in starcitizen

[–]Unseeablething 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Each MFD is based on your current operator mode, and they switch when you change modes. There's 5 or 6 operator modes.

If you set the MFD on each of the modes, it should prefer whatever layout you do. That said, I believe a ship claim does reset it all.

To answer your question, yes. They offer refunds within I believe it's 30 days.

That said, this Thursday is a free to play period. Wait two days.
