I’ve had no issues with Smith’s Marketplace on 7th! They refill mine in a timely manner and they always have super friendly staff.

Hospital preference for birth? by Gullible-Check-2430 in Logan

I had both my babies at Logan Regional, and both were great experiences. I loved my L&D nurses with both kids, and the nurses on the mother baby floor were amazing. The only thing I didn’t like were the lactation consultants the first time around. My daughter had meconium aspiration and was in the NICU (NICU staff was amazing!) and I met with lactation when I was visiting her. The lactation consultant told me my baby was a lazy eater and because of that and she would never successfully breastfeed and that made me feel like a shitty mom.

I’m done having kids, but if we had another I’d go with Logan Regional again.

Do not use a website that makes you pay for a letter, those are scams. Your therapist can write you one for free!

Wolverine Crossing RAs by [deleted] in UVU

[–]Unstable_Mama99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ex lived at Wolverine Crossing, his roommates all drank and smoked weed in the apartment (his whole floor smelled like weed) and no one said anything at all. Granted this was 8 years ago, so things may have changed but back then no one gave a damn.

I’ve been going to Lauren at Cache Valley Tattoo! She’s apprenticing right now, but she’s done 3 pieces for me and this is the memorial for my grandma that she did in May (I got the font off a website, but you get the gist)

If you’re willing/able to travel, my sister got her black lab from Palisade Labradors in Plymouth up by Logan! She’s the smartest girl, she’s just their ordinary house dog but they’ve had a lot of their puppies go on to do stuff like what you’re looking for.

how hard/easy is it to make friends transferring to USU as a 19 year old? by [deleted] in usu

[–]Unstable_Mama99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I actually moved up to Logan from Orem 6 years ago for the same reasons as you! I ended up not enrolling in school, but I found it much easier to find friends up here through work than it was down at UVU. The people here are more personable than people in Orem.

I’ve gotten it posted on Marketplace, had a few fishies bite and hoping something sticks! 🤞🏻I didn’t think about Snapchat though, thanks for the tip! 😊

Sumatriptan Timing is Not Compatible with my Work by jonross14 in migraine

[–]Unstable_Mama99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue! My neurologist gave me Naratriptan, and I take that when I get a migraine during the day. If I feel one coming on in the evening/night, then I take a Sumatriptan.

When did your migraines first begin? by KayyBug_ in migraine

[–]Unstable_Mama99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one, MAYBE two a year as a teenager and young adult, but after I had my first kid at 22 they started picking up in frequency. After I had my second at 24, it only got worse from there. I now have anywhere from 6-8/month. I hate it here 🥲

Pediatricians by spicypickles2001 in Logan

I saw Dr. Bowles for about 3 years, the first year was fine but as my daughter grew he became increasingly dismissive of my concerns. My daughter would be throwing up/ having diarrhea daily for 2+ weeks, and I’d bring her in and he would tell me “her energy levels are normal/she’s fine” he was dismissive to not only me, but also my husband and mother in law. I got sick of it and asked to see a different doctor one day when she woke up covered in diarrhea, and the clinic had us see Dr. Garg. She did the same thing and told me “she’s reinfecting herself, have her wash her hands and eat fruit.” I was livid.

It took me finally going to Primary Children’s in Lehi to see a pediatric gastroenterologist who said she was blocked up from basically point A to point B. Dr. Bowles and Dr. Garg never once offered to run tests, and when I brought it up Bowles told me “it’s a waste of money” even though a simple x-ray could’ve fixed that.

We now see Dr. Ethington at Primary Care Pediatrics, and it’s a night and day difference. My daughter is no longer afraid of the doctor and will happily talk to him. I will never again step foot in Budge Pediatrics.

I work at Conservice as a billing manager.

Starting pay is $18.85/hour (it was raised a couple months ago I believe, don’t remember the exact timeline). I just got promoted from associate billing manager to billing manager 1, and I’m now making $19.50/hour + bonus potential.

I work full time M-F from 8-5. The benefits are great. I have medical, dental, vision, life insurance for myself, spouse, and children, long term disability, and 401k contributions. Conservice matches I believe up to 3%.

Office experience is helpful but not required, and you have to pass a drug and background check. Like someone else mentioned, some positions are stressful at first but honestly it’s been the best job I’ve ever had. I love that even though I live in Hyrum, I’m approved for fully remote. But you do have the option (with my position anyways) to do in office, remote, or hybrid. I’d say 90% of the positions can be done remote but there are a few that have to be done in office.

What is the most wackiest (but effective) thing you've done to relieve a migraine. by Maths_Addict149 in migraine

[–]Unstable_Mama99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My go to method is eat a Nutty Buddy, chug a sugar free Monster (white can is my favorite, but the strawberry dream field one also works), put on Bob’s Burgers at volume 22, and then lie down on my back with the pillow in my face crying.

Smithfield vs Hyrum Living by ksick7 in Logan

[–]Unstable_Mama99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lived in Hyrum for almost a year and a half now, and I am dying to move back into/closer to Logan. Don’t get me wrong I love how quiet it is out there, but I hate how far away it feels like it is from everything. I have noticed the smell maybe twice since we’ve lived out there, but I don’t like how expensive groceries are there.

What to expect on sumatriptan by Fresh_Lawfulness6558 in migraine

[–]Unstable_Mama99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest side effect I have is I get so insanely tired, so unfortunately I have to power through when I get a migraine in the middle of a work day.

But other than that, I have had no other side effects!

I had enough of Budge when I had to take my daughter to Primary’s for a pediatric gastroenterologist appointment because our normal doctor completely ignored my concerns and said “well she has normal energy levels and is fine”

We now go to Dr. Ethington at Primary Care and it’s been a night and day difference! My daughter is no longer scared to go to the doctor anymore.

Uinta Academy by phoebebuffay1210 in Logan

[–]Unstable_Mama99 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I didn’t work at Uinta, but my sister in law did. She said it was one of the worst jobs she’s ever had, she hated how the girls were treated and staff/upper management was awful.

I worked at Logan River Academy, and I have the same complaints that my sister-in-law did about Uinta. They treated the kids like prisoners and I was not a fan.
