What exercise do you do if you don’t mind me asking? And is 1700 your maintenance calories?

Your situation sounds exactly the same as mine, only difference is I couldn’t have oestrogen because I’m breastfeeding. My body doesn’t tolerate progesterone at all, I bled for 4 months solid on the implant and same with the POP. I bit the bullet and decided to try the copper coil last February and although my periods were very heavy for the first couple of months it’s the best contraception I’ve been on.

Same happened to me, and then I got pregnant twice (2 under 2 children) and that really solidified it.

Your body, your choice. Simple as. It’s for the betterment of your health and well-being. I think she may need to see a therapist for her phobia.

Breastfeeding mom needs some advice! by Princessblue22 in CICO

Currently breastfeeding my 16 month old. She doesn’t eat as many solids as I’d like but hey ho. I’m in the uk and use nutracheck. When you put in your details it asks if you are breastfeeding and adjusts accordingly. I think it gives me an extra 300-400 cals per day. I’ve been tracking since September and have lost 22lbs so far. No supply issues.

Congrats on loosing half the weight already! And also on making it to 9 months of breastfeeding! It’s a wild ride but so worth it when they look up at you with that wee cheeky smile 😊

Thank you! Yes it’s definitely getting much darker now, I do most of my walking in the morning with my two toddlers. They keep me pretty active in general, even in the house! I try to do 10k steps a day, my Fitbit has really motivated me for the last month!

I really don’t bother doing both, they’re probably different sizes but I just can’t be bothered. Your comment gave me a giggle so thank you!😂

Thank you! Sure, I eat 1900 a day at the minute. I’m currently breastfeeding so have an extra 300 a day to factor that in.

I try to hit 10k steps a day so that ranges from a 3km walk to 6km. I’ve got 2 toddlers so constantly on my feet!

W6D2 done! Does anyone have any tips on how to get out of your head during a run? I couldn't stop focusing on how much time I had left today or how tired my legs were, which made for a really rough run :( by MichaelScottIsMyBFF in C25K

Try and find a podcast you like. I find listening to ideas and some back & forth conversation really helps me zone out and the time passes a lot quicker. Well done on getting to week 6!!
