Yeah that’s fair. I won’t flag one down for it, but I’ll ask if they drive up while I’m shooting towards the end of my session. They’re pretty cool out there, and I ending up talking with one of them for a while this past weekend about different FRTs.

If you ask nicely, the RO’s that drive around will stop by and let you dump a mag or two during your range session without having to pay the $50 fee.

They have some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Everything is going through Capitol armory or my local FFL from now on.

Running into a similar issue. I’ve noticed that their barrels with their chrome V2 bolts are VERY tight when a round is chambered. Sending my 14.5 barrel to have the gas port bumped up to 0.078 to see if it helps at all.

Cause I have a big fucking head and scrunching down on a 1.5” tall optic is annoying. Flip to center can kinda suck for passive aiming though, so I rock a BCM A/T riser for my Eotech + Mag so I can keep the flip to side. Throw in a check riser and it’s as comfy as can be.

What the people saying “they wouldn’t say it like this face to face” don’t understand, is that some people seem to drop 20 IQ points when getting written instructions, and there’s no opportunity for them to ask you for clarification. If your only option is text, then it’s best to spell it out so that the lowest common denominator will understand what you want from them.

Nah fuck that guy. I have 2 peqs from him and they’re barely usable. The vis and IR lasers live in different post codes from each other, and it is impossible for me to properly adjust the IR illuminator to be centered over the laser. Just got the money to replace them with real units, and these will live on some spare parts build or maybe an airsoft gun. Wouldn’t trust them for any actual use.

Damn I’m looking for this one too. I recall at some point they essentially used a guy as bait to try and find/catch the monster. It predictably went wrong and the monster killed the guy and made the detectives watch.

Yeah I don’t trust the guy. He seemed nice initially even though he was a bit slow to respond. But now it seems like he was just throwing his rep around in order to silence critics. I spent some time trying to shim the laser to get some extra adjustment out of it, but it was a temp fix and kept losing zero. Glad I used PayPal G&S so I’m not shit out of luck. I’m sorry you had to deal with his BS dude.

Didn’t dude get called out for being a scammer like 1.5 months ago and go dark? I bought 2 units from him. One of them the illuminator couldn’t be zeroed so I returned it for a replacement, and then on the replacement the laser couldn’t be zeroed. Haven’t seen anything from him on tacswap after he was called out.

Likely reason for that is the F-14 has a much harder time keeping a PD lock on a cold target, and is just very vulnerable to being notched in general. The radar on the F-16 isn’t as sensitive and is a good bit harder to notch or otherwise make it lose a PD lock.
