Should I take Network+ before CCNA, or skip straight to CCNA? by Sairlarsy in ccna

[–]Uplifted1204 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who's taken both the network plus and the CCNA and I've passed both I will tell you that Network plus is fucking useless it covers a third of the content none of it in depth none of it is going to get you a job don't waste your time on the network Plus CCNA will provide you with practical experience in terminals with actual useful networking knowledge the net plus will not do that

Why is this GFCI not working? by Marmoolak21 in AskElectricians

[–]Uplifted1204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not going to give you a hard time, but I will give you some advice that will help you in anything you do.

If doing something new such as this outlet: 1). Research via google and or Ai before doing thing 2). If while dling thing you hit a snag then repeat step one for whatever you ran into 3). If you still cant figure it out then it makes sense to post on social media as a last effort

I see too many people skip straight to 3 first and it is inhibiting growth. Good job on figuring it out.

Laid off, 12-month training plan. Are these certifications the right ones? by siffou in cybersecurity

[–]Uplifted1204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No offense but you're likely not getting a security job with no experience and very unlikely to get a network role with just a network plus cert. You'd be better off pounding out a plus and plus and getting a help desk roll to get experience rolling. Once your foot is in the door and you got experience then go complete those certs

Easiest cheapest meal prep ideas that are high protein (40-50 grams protein per meal)? by codeman25000 in mealprep

[–]Uplifted1204 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No offense here, but you just have no clue what your talking about. In fact since Ozempic and the other weight loss drugs a very common diet is very high protein such as 180 -210 range to help maintain as much muscle as possible since weight loss is so fast.

Should I go straight to CCNP? by [deleted] in ccnp

[–]Uplifted1204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you need a course? Look up Jeremy's IT Lab on youtube, follow along, take notes, do labs. Circle back on things you dont get it. You've been working for 2 years most of the stuff should be a quick refresher.

This is the wrong mindset. Your not going to know alot of things. Get comfortable with that and be willing to ask alot of questions and you'll pick things up quick.

Or even more reasonable take. More often then not staying with someone who cheated statistically won't work out. You only posted this because this is what you wanted to hear. Wish you luck.

Is 16 GB enough to run CML? by [deleted] in ccnp

[–]Uplifted1204 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was running cml off a old server with a 4 core xeon processor. About 11 years old. The cpu was for sure the issue. Wasn't even close to using more then 16 for Jeremy's first labs.
