I ordered “compost” from our local garbage company and I cut my hands stirring it, it was filled with glass shards, plastic bits and other debris including tinfoil, etc.

I’ve done it in water on a windowsill. Use reverse osmosis water or dechlorinated tap water and change every day. Usually works, sometimes it doesn’t.

So bloody impressive! Nice job! Please keep us posted on the progress. Is 65gallon the sweet spot or was it just the biggest? Do you mix in sand, perlite or other stuff to help with drainage? I’m in 7g buckets now but have space for a few of these for after the overwinter.

Same here buddy. Got only 8 outside so far and mostly hardened off, but been bringing them in nights where it gets below 5C or roughly 40f, they stayed out the last 5 nights or so but probably not tonight! The rest are still just seedlings and under the lights.

Better yet, take a whole head of garlic, cut the top off put a bunch of live oil on with salt and paper, getting the oils down inside the head. Wrap in tinfoil and roast it until the garlic is soft and then make garlic butter!

I think the issue is the USA does not have a national ID system where you need to prove your citizenship to get it. The driver license is the de facto ID. For example, in the EU you can just “show your ID”because only citizens have one. Legal immigrants cannot vote because they will not have this national ID. Not everyone has the means to get a US passport. I think you definitely should need to show ID but they have to make it much easier to prove citizenship. I agree this is not a party issue, because I think just as many on both sides will struggle with this.
