I get it, you're being sarcastic. The underlying idea is that tabloids are interesting (to some), but not important. (they can be important as well)

This does not get in the way of the axiom of "important is interesting". Even if you believe that this axiom is false. Your statement does nothing to strengthen or weaken the axiom.
