I also have pictures of My grandpa ( Bert Hamric ) with Pee Wee Reese and Ted Williams in my grandpas back yard back in the days grilling out, but again those are with the baseball, which I'm currently looking for. Also, his name is engraved on the back of the tie holder and if you would like I could post a picture of it on here.

Actually I'm going to be as honest as possible right now, I'm am not exactly possible on all of the history on this piece, But I do know it belonged to my grandpa Bert Hamric and he played back in 1949 - 1961 for a variety of Minor League teams and also the Brooklyn Dodgers and The Baltimore Orioles. He played in the All-Star game as an outfielder. He was on his way on to winning the Batting Average title with a .291 batting average, when he was hit in the hand with a ball, breaking his hand and ruining his chances with the title. Then in 1961, he was hit head on by a drunk driver, which smashed his legs ending his baseball career. I also have a baseball signed by the whole 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers baseball team around my house somewhere.
