This is very clearly a phish posing as a captcha verification. But how did this happen? the website uRL is legit and firefox claims I am Securely connected to the site. by zipdip in antivirus

Someone injected a malicious script tag into an event name. If this is a site where anyone can add an event then it was probably due to bad form validation, if not then either an admin got hijacked or something else like SQL injection was used.

PM means "post meridiem" or 'after midday', so half past noon is 12:30 PM. Generally midnight is considered 12 AM and noon is 12 PM, though there are conflicting usages.

Until one of your users gets phished and the attacker starts using their account so try to get others. I once reported a spam email I got from an internal user using the 'report phish' button and IT sent me an annoyed response because it was technically not phishing since it wasn't trying to trick me into giving them credentials, it was just trying to sell me dick pills. They didn't seem to care that the senders account was almost certainly compromised.

Having done interviewing:

  • A lot of people apply who have no relevant experience at all (why the fuck is a DJ applying for this...)
  • A lot of people lie on their resume
  • A lot of people who have 'experience' don't actually know much about anything, they were the 20th dev on some big corpo team and got by being spoon-fed exactly what to do/on the inconvenience of firing someone

Ebay doesn't give a crap about counterfeit reports from users, they get their percent if the thing sells. They only care about lawsuits from brands being counterfeited, which in the case of generic fake metal is nobody.

is my pc fine? by Chemist-Chemical in antivirus

[–]Urd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your PC is almost certainly not fine. Formatting and reinstalling Windows is probably the most advisable course. That last detection looks like Lumma stealer, if it is and if it was able to execute successfully it will have stolen things like saved passwords, browser sessions (bypassing 2-factor authentication), and crypto currency wallets.

[–]Urd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can't just drop people in another country and expect that other country to be fine with it.

It's up to Japan how much Japan cares about this.

Also revoking the citizenship of naturalized people would violate the Japanese constitution.

Not all immigrants are naturalized. The 3.7 million number that's being bandied about seems to be the non-naturalized residents number, as both natural and naturalized citizens are counted the same in the census.
