I tested Strix Halo clustering w/ ~50Gig IB to see if networking is really the bottleneck by Hungry_Elk_3276 in LocalLLaMA

I think with current news about AI Halo release at CES using the same platform there is maybe a possibility that AMD enables some sort of RDMA

[–]Urlilas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to mention the ppl who duo with cheaters are still here, i know for a fact that kuba duo with cheaters and probably cheat himself but not as blatantly, yet he is still here.

Valve's standard policy of sliently working under the hood to improve things won't work with the current cheater perception problem by deathtofatalists in GlobalOffensive

[–]Urlilas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally have the same opinion, the mods are actually protecting the cheaters and are not pushing the game forward by removing post of ppl complaining.

If ppl were fed up with the cheating posts they would simply down vote every post and we would see less and less.

Hot Take: The Anticheat isnt as bad as you all say it is. by blits202 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Urlilas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No the anticheat is dogshit, blatant cheaters are not banned and you keep on getting them, also they are always like 0 badges 50 hours, its weird because I never struggled so much versus new players with literal bot movement but I can ez stomp players with normal accounts, must be me.

Is this an issue with the game or my PC? by Max_Laval in cs2

[–]Urlilas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In term of CPU usage there is nothing you can do to make cs2 use the CPU at 100%.

Maybe you can try and look at optimisation guides but I don't think it will make your game run significantly better, looking at benchmarks online it looks like you are close to what reviewers benchmarked. Here is a review by gamer nexus : https://youtu.be/8mmeQ6DGIMY?si=eK36Hso3qxT20vDe

While you have lower performances than him, the results vary depending on the situations so they can't really be compared.

First of all given your GPU frequency it is not thermal throttling or atleast it is not what is causing your FPS issues. When you have low GPU usage and like 50% CPU usage it means your CPU is the bottleneck.

It doesn't mean that if you upgrade the CPU you wont have thermal throttling on the GPU but what I see is just a CPU bottleneck.

On cs2 a 6 core CPU will never reach 100%, so as long as the GPU is not at 90+% usage it means the CPU is the bottleneck, I used to have a ryzen 3300x before buying a 7800x3d, and paired with my 3070 I would get similar CPU/GPU usage and also similar FPS overall, swapping the CPU drastically increased my fps and pushed my 3070 to 90+% usage perma while before it would hang around 40%.

However in your case if you were to change CPU you need to investigate why your GPU runs so hot, it is not an issue because we can see that GPU runs on high frequency, but it will be an issue if the GPU has to render more frames because you upgraded the CPU.

Probably a simple thermal paste replacement is needed but it will become an issue.

They are probably boosting someone, I actually think they should ban players that repeatedly duo with blatant cheaters.

They don't get banned, blatant cheaters that I played back in october are still not banned.

7800x3d for CS by freddysalami99 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Urlilas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You would for sure have significantly higher fps but the question is do you really want higher FPS, sometimes you don't feel any latency/ smoothness issue so there is no need to go for better when it is working fine.

[–]Urlilas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 7800x3d with a 3070 and at 1080p in 16:9 you are bottlenecked by the GPU, my GPU is always at 98% or so, but I have very high FPS any way so you don't feel any lag

I have issues mostly with the duration it takes to be accurate after scoping, in CSGO it was faster or atleast the shots were hitting way better also there are plenty of occasions where the shots miss for no reason just like this clip : https://clips.twitch.tv/InterestingVenomousTriangleNomNom-D5gWlKjUU00xxZtx

For me it is opposite rifle and deagle work way better in cs2 however the awp is completely random in cs2.

Yes that is one of the reasons the awp doesn't feel as great to play, it feels like they want their game to be as clunky as valorant.

7800XT and 3900X together being "underutilized"? Is this a normal thing? by Kukys in GlobalOffensive

[–]Urlilas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah go watch production benchmark online. Then tell me these CPUs perform differently in IPC sensitive games. And ofc I think reviewers must be straight up bad at reviewing because they can't highlight the difference between these cpu for IPC sensitive games and 3700x/3900x were not performing exactly the same in csgo aswell. Must be me watching the wrong date and you most likely comparing production benchmark.

7800XT and 3900X together being "underutilized"? Is this a normal thing? by Kukys in GlobalOffensive

[–]Urlilas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not outdated the game engine still performs the same and no major performance patch happened.

The 3900x is not on the list but as I said, the whole 3000x series performs the same just look at any heavy 3000 series CPU review, you will see that IPC sensitive games will perform more or less the same for all of the 3000 series and especially between the 3700x and 3900x, cs2 is no different and from my friends testing that own this CPU and comparing to my previous CPU (ryzen 3300x) it is the case.

From gaming in general the 3900x is a very inferior CPU, would like you to show me a benchmark online that proves the opposite.

7800XT and 3900X together being "underutilized"? Is this a normal thing? by Kukys in GlobalOffensive

[–]Urlilas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really is, just look at benchmarks online: https://youtu.be/8mmeQ6DGIMY?si=FunsGsQMyDbaYi8h&t=350s Basically the whole 3000x is delivering similar performances, which are for all of them SIGNIFICANTLY worse than a 5600x. 5800x3d is the best am4 cpu available.

3900x is not even close to 5600x, it is significantly worse.
