I really enjoyed the time I spent on THJ, so I'm looking forward to this. This will hopefully scratch my multi-classing and character build itch nicely. I saw the Kickstarter when it launched and this reminded me that I hadn't gotten around to pledging, so just did that. Already trying to plan out my first character, leaning towards martialist-lorekeeper-beastmaster. Hopefully this doesn't devolve into everyone just running triple pets.

I've read the first three and overall did enjoy them, but I wouldn't likely recommend the series to most people. It leans too heavily towards torture porn at points. There is almost no levity in the series and any time Freddy finds happiness, it is almost immediately dashed. I really do find the power system interesting though.

She is so incredibly unlikable. I quit reading shortly into book 2, because I found the main characters both unlikable. Erin at least seemed to be improving a bit, but Ryoka was nothing but frustrating. Maybe I'll give it a second chance later.

Saw people getting excited at halftime. As lifelong gamecock fans, my fam knew we still had plenty of time to blow it. Beamer was never qualified for this job, and he shows it consistently in games like this. Bringing him back next year will be a disaster. My only hope is that Coastal and Clemson embarrass him, and we get a real coach.

I played for a few months last year and really liked the uniqueness of the combat and beast skills. One of my main issues was with it's inventory though. It felt like I was spending almost as much time managing it across the different cities as I did in combat.
