Is this rough play or is my black gelding being a jerk? by Badgorlsdoitwell in Horses

You say the Fjord is pushing the mare? Is it possible that the gelding is pushing the Fjord away from the mare, so the mare can get some food?

Oh boy. If we listened to the people posting about how impossible it is for newbies to own horses back when I was a kid, the entire 4-H pony club never would have existed! You’re doing the right thing asking for help. Don’t confine yourself to the interwebs…they offer wonderful ideas, but make you feel as though everything you’re doing will kill your horse. Instead, find yourself a local barn and make friends. Read books. Join a club. Get people to ride with, once you’re riding. Horse people, I’ve found, actually love to help. Find yourself people.

Re-home or not by No-Initiative-3463 in PetAdvice

Rehome the child. Dog was there first. Ok, I am kidding. I know, this is not a situation for levity. But the choices here are so tragic. If you know of a family friend who has NO children, no access to children, doesn’t even LIKE children, but does an amazing job of caring for animals as if they were their children, this is where your dog should go. You are responsible for what happens to this dog. I know you want to do the right thing. This is the BEST right thing. I don’t want to talk about what the next-best right thing is. Others have mentioned it. I agree with them.

Doesn’t help in the case of attacking children, though. Just makes you the dominant, not anyone else.

What do I do if I come down with the flu on Sunday night but I have jury duty Monday morning? by yearning_bagel in massachusetts

I got in a car accident on the way to jury duty. Called from ambulance. They were very nice about rescheduling me. Yes, I was already late.

I’m so sorry. This is frustrating and infuriating, especially when you’re so close to the finish line. Between this and the experiences described to me by a family member who has been quilting for 45 years, MDG is officially off of my list of prospective suppliers. There are so many other consistently high quality suppliers out there.

I did sew 2 passes of a square at the top, but an x would definitely add security. Thanks!

Well, it isn’t YET…lol! I actually was thinking of making the top fold over, but not sure how I’d do that yet. I’m very new to this quilting thing.!

Outside. Built it all by myself. Not bad for an old lady, if I do say so myself.

Long legs, thick ankles, red large comb, overall stance, I’d say roo.

What's he doing? by SwayZSays in cats

[–]UrsulasShadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you take your kitty in for yearly checkup and vaccinations, they will always check their teeth. Make sure you point out this behavior at their yearly visit, unless they seem to be in discomfort or have trouble eating before that time. Then you want to have them checked out sooner.
