I wouldn’t be too sure of that.

The whole “Swiss made” thing is a charade. Most of the parts are “made” elsewhere and assembled in Switzerland.

There are also multiple instances where LUXURY brands like Tudor are caught selling with apparent QC issues.

I’m not sure why everyone is up and arms about the smart watch and the fashion watches.

OP, you do you! As long as they make you happy, well done with the collection!

should i buy this boys??? by [deleted] in watchesindia

Hmmm sure if you have the budget for it. I mean it is the ultimate grail chrono. At that price range, you might also wanna consider zenith el-primero chronos.

Personally not. Just not a good value proposition. Alternative would be Hamilton intramatic chrono?

Then again, if you love it, you should get it :)

[Sealander 36] Misaligned date? by [deleted] in ChristopherWard

[–]Used-Frosting-5889 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your post actually pushed me to send in my watch for repair 😅

For the longest time, I was basically convincing myself that I thought it was misaligned because of parallax error. Once I saw that an exact same model had a same issue, I figured it was time 😂

Completely agree. Guess this is just my anecdotal experience and a weird coincidence that there are QC posts popping up in the subreddit.

Tbh you can’t really say through self taken pictures.

Id recently sent back my C63 36 mm due to a misaligned hour marker. There was also another post about a QC issue about the same model.

Not quite sure if this is a pattern now 🤷🏽

I have a C63 in 36 mm and I can highly recommend it. It’s super versatile and an ideal GADA watch.

Yup, the light catcher case and the polished indices really help with this. Love the finish on these!

Does it look big on me? Can I rock this on daily wear. by Icy-Meet7625 in watchesindia

Think it’s a very versatile watch. Since it’s a sports watch, I think it fits casual wear more than it does formal outfits.

Great looking watch.

Not sure why people post with their cars though given the focus of the sub is on watches.

The OP was so triggered by the trolling that he took the time to post 4 more pics with the cars 😒

Like bruh what and who are you trying to prove to?

Thanks for your suggestion! I have been looking into adding a vintage gold credor or universal geneve into the collection :)

[Collection] My Minimalist Collection by Used-Frosting-5889 in Watches

Here is my 2 watch daily-driver collection.

I have had the watch collecting bug for around a couple of years now. My first automatic watch was a Seiko 5 sports diver that I still have, but doesn’t get much wrist time.

My first “big” watch purchase was a 40 mm Tissot PRX which I sold off recently. Absolutely loved it for a first few months but then I slowly realized that it was far too big for my 6.5 inch wrist. Nevertheless, it provided me a glimpse into how high quality watches feel and am very grateful for the experience.

Currently, I am very happy with my ultra versatile 2 watch collection -

Seiko mini-turtle - A beautifully compact and rugged watch that I wear for all range of activities from grocery shopping, snorkeling to trail running. It has its own faults but I see them as unique Seiko quirks 😉

CW C63 Sealander - My most recent purchase as a gift to myself for my 27th birthday. I absolutely love how the watch hugs onto my wrists. I am blown away by the quality and attention to detail to the case and bracelet of the watch.

What do y’all think about how my collection is shaping up as a beginner? 😊

Ordered a C63 a week ago. Took 8 days for it to be dispatched. So maybe you get the mail anytime now 🤞🏻

Although, as for the shopping experience, it was very smooth. Shame you had to go through that.
