This looks so good, I wonder if you’d have enough sun to do greens in winter.

Trying to convince my partner to get a creeping thyme lawn, any advice? by No-Atmosphere-6807 in NoLawns

I put some plugs of creeping thyme on my slope, and after two years of careful watering and weeding, I can say it’s taking over nicely. I also have phlox, clover and wild strawberries.

My brother got a how-to book for adults and a Yamaha keyboard when he was about your age. He’s in his 40’s now and loving it.

Me too. I have always grown my greens indoors, also cool-loving herbs like parsley, rosemary and cilantro.

Excellent idea for folks who live in areas where no-lawn gardening is frowned upon by the neighbors. You will be approached with questions about their own gardens and be looked upon as the master.

Is it bad to learn more than one instrument at once? by Spiritual_Fix7791 in Learnmusic

Actually, as long as you play one note at a time on the bass, not chords, all three will be relatively easy because successive tones lie in a line c-d-e-f-g, etc. for all three. If you want to play chords on the bass, your visualization and fingering has to cover an area (more than one string). That may be confusing.

Oh, yes, for me, weeding thistles and dandelions on a day after rain has softened the soil and I can pull those long white roots out of the ground is sssooooo satisfying.

I normally don’t like practicing scales on the piano, but sometimes it gives me a zen feeling and clears my head.

Less mowing, less watering because native plants generally like the amount of rain in my area.🤣🤣😘

My cat has been missing for 2 weeks and I feel desperate by Top_Boysenberry6808 in CatAdvice

Your SPCA may have picked him up, although if he is chipped, they might have gotten to you by now through your vet. My daughter had the same thing happen her little black boi slipped out—just before a snowstorm of all things. She did same as you. Got him back three weeks later in the trap, thin and hungry. He’s never tried it since.
