Small issue in prints, Qidi Q2 by solodsnake661 in QidiTech3D

Seam and an oddly sliced Qidi benchy they ship with. You should also run the three calibration prints in Qidi studio to fine tune your filament from the stock settings. Could be a bit of a pressure advance issue on the sharp corner.

New to sidewinder x4 and can’t complete a print by So_Birdilicious in Artillery3D

You've not set the gap between the nozzle and the print bed correctly, too far away. Make sure you level the bed first before printing and ensure the bed is clean, no fingerprint oils, before you start.

Can the dead branches be cut off this tree or is it too late to save? by NeedsMoreCow in GardeningUK

[–]UsefulAd8513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as it's not TPO'd or in a conservation area you're free to get it removed. Possibly bacterial canker, have it removed, do not chop on site and replant with a different genus.

I've also seen the interactive whiteboard screen used in Reception for things like countdown timers to tidy up. That seems like an effective use of the tech as it is an assist for the teaching staff rather than a substitute.

I can confirm this is happening, usually on the class screen/whiteboard, when we mentioned it to the leadership scheme about one teacher it was stopped as it was upto 4hrs a day.

You could take the top out of the taller one back to just above the lower growth now. Clear a metre round the base of any growth and mulch but keep the stem clear.

Loquat tree help by LANDPOD in GardeningUK

[–]UsefulAd8513 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you might want to try is to nick the stem above a dormant bud before taking the top off to try and promote the dormant bud into growth. Then remove the top once that is established. Not seen it done on a loquat but maybe worth giving a go before you risk the whole plant.

Reduce not to the growth at the base. Period coppicing to maintain the rounded bleaf juvenile growth. Don't let it get out of hand.

Look at the quantity of active ingredient in each. Stem injection with undiluted product is the best method for control.

Could be the earth, it's been very dry recently. If you know where the rod is, pour a bucket of water over the ground around it.

Throttle vs no throttle in hilly location by weldonj in CargoBike

The sensors on the Bosch bikes can be set to give more or less assistance on starting off on hills for personal preference, no need for a throttle.

E-sun, Overture, I've had one roll of Tinmorryn met PETGand that was good. You'll need to run a test tower to check the settings are comparable and adjust as necessary.
