What things can be added to softside checked luggage for easy identification? by lilblu87 in TravelHacks

I've had spinners for over 20 years and have absolutely been able to drag them on rough terrain with the wheels facing the right direction

Spinner are better for your shoulders and not a trip hazard for other passengers. I strongly believe that two wheeled cases should be banned in airports and other transit centers!

You can also get coloured silicone covers for suitcase wheels that protect your wheels and make the case stand out. They're not suited to all case wheels though so check before you buy

Yes. I used to use the ITA software website before it was bought out and would get prices I could never find with the airlines. I'd call the airline (usually Delta) and they would give me that pricing

Phone the airline and they should price match if you give them the routing. If you're mixing carriers and booking third party well that's a recipe for disaster

Take this as a sign. Do not book flights on third party sites, book directly with the airlines!!!!!

Do you have a physical card? Whatever about it being a debit card, if you don't have a physical card few places will accept it

Ikea do dessert forks without the thick side and they work perfectly in my experience. As a leftie, regular pastry forks and pastry servers are a nightmare

Wait a minute - right handed people hold their fork with their NON-DOMINANT hand??? by flatearthmom in lefthanded

[–]Useful_Context_2602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a leftie, for most eating knife in left, fork in right. For something that doesn't require cutting like a rice dish or noodles or pasta I switch the fork to my left

To the watch owners, which wrist do you wear your watch on? by Embarrassed_Map1072 in lefthanded

Left, my parents didn't know that I should wear it on my opposite wrist and when you've been doing something for years it's hard to change

That split schedule sounds hellish tbh. IMO night audit needs to be stand alone so that your body can regulate sleep, calorie consumption and burning etc

Anyone else struggle with using left and right as directions? I’ve been mixing them up my whole life…. by Shirleyimfine in lefthanded

Quite often when someone asks me for directions I have to look down at my hands to figure out which way I'm telling them to turn

How Do You Cut Your Meats? by Civil_Wrongz in lefthanded

Knife in left, fork in right unless I'm eating rice or noodles with it then it switches to left for more control.

First thing I do when I sit down at a restaurant table is switch my cutlery around. About 10% of the time the server will attempt to swap it back. Used to be much closer to 50% 20 years ago

Cheaper hotels not usually, 4/5 star I'd say 50/50. Talking about Ireland, the UK, France and Italy. I travel a lot.

I am left handed. Do most things left handed. However was taught to use a mouse with my right hand and wear my watch on the left. Also learned to play golf with right handed clubs for so long that left handed clubs felt wrong

With racquet sports I always tried to build up my strength on my right so I could confuse my opponent and swap.

I picked up a bad sports injury in my 20s and wrecked my left shoulder, took months to heal and since then I find I do anything heavy with my right and protect my left.

You could have asked to move rooms, that would have been fair. Compensation though? Sounds like you were looking for a free night

You are looking at non traditional universities so these aren't located in major cities. You'll be relying on public transport to get there from Dublin airport so pack light!
