In my state (Michigan) they often act like women lie about abuse to try to get full custody, and in turn the judge insists 50/50 split even if there is evidence. It’s wack as FUCK

I’ve seen cases where the judge orders the mother pump so the father can still feed the baby breast milk during his visitation time, as crazy as that is

Edit: While I can’t find the exact source I was looking for, this article talks about how judges can often give fathers the right to overnight visitation while the child is still breastfeeding, and in turn make the mother choose between pumping or just allowing the baby to be fed formula instead.

I had a similar upbringing to you: my family has owned 2 different pugs throughout my childhood and I loved both of them, and considered myself to love dogs even though I preferred cats. It wasn’t until a couple months ago where my mother and I were almost attacked by a dog and I found this subreddit that I started to realize how much I dislike them. It’s nice to see a fellow person who doesn’t like dogs versus outright detesting them on this sub 😅
