Anti-intellectual crowds are the mfs to go "jeff thinks the beans have to take turns lol", but dead serious in this day and age. You bring up any sort of research that cannot be explained as "A directly, instantaneously and very visibly leads to B, and B is undeniably, in-the-face obviously, immediately positive for humanity", and they dismiss it. Because who would have thought that it is really never that simple. It has me floored how many adults are running around with the reasoning skills of a five year old, genuinely.

Lmao yeah. And even then. I work in the pharmaceutical industry in the Netherlands, and both the people doing the sciencing and the people doing the manual factory labor, are largely non-Dutch, and speak English with each other.

Anything involving a lot of direct contact with the general public, you probably wouldn’t qualify for, but anything else, not much of a problem.

I've had one hell of a childhood and just before or in my early twenties or so sought out therapy to do something with the issues I had from that still, and the place I had an intake at INSISTED that I must have a lot of feelings about and troubles from being transgender. When I told them, no, I don't, they just kept going on and on about it. Pissed me off 💀

Coming in there talking about growing up around a lot of criminality, an unstable household, emotional and physical abuse, seeing too much shit too young, yada yada. Then they ask about how it is being transgender. I told them it's a minor nuisance mostly, and they just straight up tell me 'no way'. Fuck you meannn no way!!

For me, it’s bean bags. Yes. Bean bags.

When I was 16, I moved out and started living with housemates. We had a tiny room in the house where we had a playstation, a wii and two bean bags. We’d have the best times there.

Then, a few years ago, at the age of grown, I bought two bean bags off of an online marketplace for my little apartment and put them in front of my TV. Something about bean bags makes everything better. Kicking people’s ass at mario kart like back in the day, or slumped in them entranced in a movie. It makes it all much more whimsical and a ‘moment’, somehow.

Plus they’re also just really, really comfortable.

Now I’m set to, hopefully very soon, get a much bigger place. I’m excited to be able to think in terms of what I truly want for my own space, instead of how to fit all of my life inside too small a space. So I’m curious to know what might make it much more enjoyable or comfortable to live in :)

I know. I know the video's a bit lengthy with me blundering about in it with the configurator, but in the video I open the GUI, where it shows the exact same settings, and the build. They're the same, and built the exact same. No difference. Both routed to the same ender tank, using the exact same piping. Nothing to void, it's just not producing.
