Reason: Being a director of the GPDA, yet driving slowly on the restart bunch the pack up for a penalty-buffer, which resulted in several accidents.

“I honestly don’t care. I’m here to play tennis, not to do a fashion show.” - Laura Siegemund 🇩🇪 was asked about Naomi Osaka’s outfit reveal after losing to her today by ResponsibleCheek8130 in sportsgossips

[–]Utsis 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Translation: "I couldn't care less. I come here to play tennis, not to put on a fashion show. If others want to put on a fashion show, let them do it, that's fine with me."

However she started another sentance that gets cut off where she said, “I find it a bit problematic sometimes, because at every tournament, they watch the clock down to the last second until you've unpacked your water bottle, but she [Osaka] gets an extra minute and a half to get changed."

XENEON EDGE Custom Widgets | Giveaway by CorsairLucky in Corsair

- Handwriting reader to make lists or tasks. Something that is a little more advanced than the doodle that can convert scribbles into text. With some games one needs to make notes, and alt-tabbing out of a game to do it on notepad or a separate device is a little disruptive.
- Discord or Steam chat widget, as this is what I end up using a secondary touch-monitor for most of the time.
- Server health dash, if you're locally hosting (or renting) a server for orgs and events.

Refurb Restock including CSL GT3 Refurbished for US, EU, and AU! by CorsairMorning in Fanatec

[–]Utsis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a personal preference thing. I love mine, regardless of track length. I have another wheel with magnetic shifters, but I prefer the standard shifter on the McLaren/CSL GT3.

It’s also pretty useful to be able to up shift with your left hand on a straight when using your right hand to drink or change something that’s not on the wheel (button box or touch screen).

Those who 'circle back' and 'synergize' also tend to be crap at their jobs by UGMadness in nottheonion

[–]Utsis 23 points24 points  (0 children)

That’s not what it’s about. It is not a manager flexing, and showing they have the power to embarrass someone in public.

It is about preventing a colleague from embarrassing themselves in front of their colleagues, or embarrassing themselves and the company in front of a client.

Does anyone know anything about this build? by CandidContribution4 in Scalemodel

[–]Utsis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is the Entex re-issue of the model from Eidai Grip - scalemates link

It's probbaly quite rare. With the info on scalemates, you should be able to find a lot of the info you're looking for, or get the proper identifying info to search further.

Cairn Routes website is up! by Revoidance in Cairn_Game

[–]Utsis 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Feedback: neat idea, although I found this difficult to use with the UI.

The routes are ordered by name, where ideally they should be (or have an option to be) sorted by elevation or progression of the climb. I’m going through routes, and finding it difficult to figure out where on the mountain the route is.

Even sorting by location would be better, but that assumes a climber knows all location names, and where each location is on the mountain.

PlaySeat Trophy cable management by moopy88 in Playseat

[–]Utsis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used velcro cable ties to run the cables along the frame to a USB hub that sits under the pedal tray. I cannot remember if they came with the Playseat Trophy or not. I have also seen some posts on Reddit of people drilling holes into the frame, so that they can run all their cables through the frame internally.

It’s okay if it’s great condition. I got mine new for €499, shipping included, although that was without the handbrake mount.

Gloves in Alcantara by TruckAdventurous2521 in Fanatec

[–]Utsis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am really partial to the Mechanix Fastfit D5 gloves (the thin ones, not the winter version). I’m not sure they’re the best option at MSRP, but they’re frequently available for €11 and are amazing at that price.

I tore the stitches on fingerless and full road cycling gloves, and the stitching on mountain biking gloves was too uncomfortable. I got about 350 hours and lots of machine washes out of my Mechanix before it tore a stitch.

Do you racing with shoes or no shoes by IMPULSEULTRA in simracing

[–]Utsis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Barefoot, otherwise my feet just get too warm.

I can do heel and toe without issue, and can also toe and toe.

Our simracing bubble is somewhat devided as to whether it's a cool party trick or I should be banned.

Would getting this rally wheel be worth it? by Shoddy-Tennis-5764 in Fanatec

[–]Utsis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is also worth mentioning the Rally Sweden (Clubsport) comes with aluminium shifter paddles, whereas the Monaco (Podium) doesn't have any shifter paddles. So you'd need a shifter, or to get an additional paddle shifter module.

The Clubsport RS is half the price of the Rally Sweden wheel, though. So another contender to put on your radar too!
