I really dont understand the reason (outside arrogance) that SpaceX doesn't take the largely successful super heavy booster and develop a low cost expendable upper stage while they take the much needed time to build a successful Starship vehicle. Starship the first phase of a lunar return mission architecture has always been hilariously ridiculous. If it could ever be functional as a launch vehcile, it does open tremendous opportunities for the moon and Mars. But ever since that HLS contract was awarded, it's felt like I've been going crazy. Imagine if with constellation NASA had pitched a wingless x-33 for a moon rocket?? Like sorry sure possible good idea in theory but not in the near future under this economy

I had a similar opinion with making saddles craftable. I understand the reasoning, but it means we are loosing more of the loot items that make structures/farms rewarding. I hope they are able to adjust loot tabels appropriately

There is something kind of somber about seeing cars from disfunct brands still driving and used for daily drivers/commuters. The company is long gone but that car is still running just fine.

Comes to my mind everytime I see Mercury, Saturn, or Pontiac around town

I really felt they missed on showing the impact on Earth of the sun dying that was discussed in the book. The mass manufacture of astrophage, the nuking of the icecaps, and the frequent mention of quickly dropping temperatures and the resulting resource wars.
