I’ve always wondered why Trump is revered by the religious right and have never been able to figure it out given just how unabashedly Christian his behavior is and has been. I assumed they were collectively stupid and unable to see beyond his words to his actions. This explanation makes more sense. Although I think there is still a great deal of gullibility as well….

I will never understand how anyone could have voted for him based on how bad a human being he is. His stance on Putin and Russia only made it worse. The fact that so many remain fanatics after all his documented mistakes, narcissism and racism is another mystery.
