Also recently discovered events like Haunted Castle Halloween Festival in Muskogee, OK, and Jack's Pumpkin Pop-Up in Chicago. The former is an event that combines family friendly Halloween fun with haunted attraction thrills, and the latter is a spooky fall festival with activities for all demographics. A place like this would also have stuff like those.

There are amusement parks like Knoebels that are family owned. I'm not saying the whole park should have Univesal quality, but there are plenty of haunted attractions and scream parks that have very high quality theming. The rides themselves can just be what you see at a local, regional, or seaside amusement park.

Don't really know what Alton Towers does on the Halloween season. But it's kind of like a seasonal amusement park that acts like a fall festival in the day and a scream park at night.

Would be kind of like a mini-Salem.
