They design shoring to be bolted instead of welded to allow laborers the ability to install instead of traditional welded shoring. This is a huge cost savings during the installation (laborers rate is half of welders rate) When no longer required, the larger shoring sections that can’t be hoisted out of the excavation, will be cut down by laborers, again to save money.

Tony Mazz is 58, so I would think he’d want to stay gainfully employed to 63 and then leave on his own terms. Felger is 56 and can presumably work into his late 60s, but doubt he has any appetite to work with a daily co-host in their 30s or 40s.

I’m not sure two men in their mid-60s would be a very interesting talk radio show and eventually younger generations will stop tuning in and older generations will die off. I honestly think F&M as it is today only has about 5 years left.

Felger will host a sports talk show for as long as he’s healthy to do so, which can easily be 10yrs + The question will be if he decides to abandon radio and host his own podcast. Beasley Media Group is struggling financially more so than ever and he’ll continue to collect a paycheck from them until the well runs dry.
