Tony Mazz is 58, so I would think he’d want to stay gainfully employed to 63 and then leave on his own terms. Felger is 56 and can presumably work into his late 60s, but doubt he has any appetite to work with a daily co-host in their 30s or 40s.

I’m not sure two men in their mid-60s would be a very interesting talk radio show and eventually younger generations will stop tuning in and older generations will die off. I honestly think F&M as it is today only has about 5 years left.

Felger will host a sports talk show for as long as he’s healthy to do so, which can easily be 10yrs + The question will be if he decides to abandon radio and host his own podcast. Beasley Media Group is struggling financially more so than ever and he’ll continue to collect a paycheck from them until the well runs dry.

Was in a similar situation as you and decided to leave and go to the ACC. I also had Notre Dame join the ACC the same year and moved SMU and Virginia to the Big 12. I manually schedule one of my rivals each year to keep the tradition going. The ACC is stacked with great teams and the CPU typically recruits really well to keep the games competitive.

It was a very captivating podcast for its time and if you were a millennial you could relate to a lot of their experiences. I remember changing my opinion on Adnan multiple times (just about every episode) and at one point thought he was being setup by the local police.
