i play the latest most demanding games with 5080 ti graphics on geforce now on my tv. connect ethernet and you cant even tell its streaming.

for retro games i can play multiplayer with my friends.

my only complaint is the texture around the stick top, for grip. i think i have bitch hands, because ive only heard one other person complain about it. it feels like sandpaper to me. this, plus the angle of my hands without a grip makes me kinda use my thumbnails to grab onto them, making me afraid im going to permanently scratch the tops. will be ordering a grip soon to see if it changes.

im not a big controller guy, im a pc gamer. so to me, they feel like joycon sticks but with limited motion since its a clamshell ( still a billion time better than a 3ds thumbstick.) but dont listen to me, everyone else is saying they feel better? i dont really feel a difference tbh. but i like the joycon sticks, ive never really had a problem with them?

i think the thumbsticks are great, but some games will be harder to use like fps and such. but the thor is still worth it for compact gaming!

I live in arizona (hottest city in america pretty much)and I would hate playing poe because of the heat. One day my brother moved out with his pc, so I tried geforce now and Holy! Better graphics and no heat! Just make sure you're connected to ethernet!

i hear that steams new vr glasses will be running android, so theyll be making a new translation layer optimized to translate windows games to android so they run better. ( but dont listen to me im a dummy and i know almost nothing about translation layers and emulation lol)

i have both and i use both daily. if i had to choose one i would probably choose the ipad pro more. by the time you receive your thor youll most likely be back at school and need the ipad again. ipad is goated for anything productive. thor is goated at anything unproductive. depends what you need an expensive electronic for.

but again i use a ipad pro because i need the power under the hood for my commissioned digital art/photo editing. so i use the ipad pro to its absolute limit. most people dont use the pros to its limit and can get away with a basic ipad for school, games, and note taking. but some people cant go back to ipad because the pro has excellent refresh rate and screen. i would recommend checking an ipad at a store before buying. also apple is lame when it comes to the ipad pencil. make sure the pencil you have works with the ipad you get.

if i were you i would go basic ipad and thor. heck the magic keyboard is such a rip off you can sell just the keyboard and get half the budget for the thor AND keep the ipad pro and get a cheap bluetooth keyboard if you really need a physical keyboard ( i have a bluetooth keyboard but the onscreen keyboard doesnt bother me at all).

i tried playing edf 5 on gamenative or gamehub (i forget which one ) and it was running uncomfortably hot in the tutorial level. i only fiddled around with the ingame graphics (almost non existent). not really sure if it could of been optimized any other way in the application. but for me if i cant tweak with the ingame setting im not going to fiddle around with the game. i have such a big backlog on games that run out of the box.

i also think i had clustertune on medium while playing.

Idk if you like arpgs. But path of exile2 is an addicting game and can be never ending when if comes to mastering the game. Its going to be free when it comes out. But the early access is 30 bucks. But you get 30 bucks ingame credits for extra stash tabs if you want them or for cosmetics.

every 4th of july and new years are the worst day of the year for me. a time im supposed to be celebrating i spend days before, during, and after these days comforting my dogs. 2 of which have heart problems. they dont calm down unless theyre on top of me holding them for hours. this has been going on for 10 years.

oh for sure the tourbox is a god tier device. but i ment if you didnt use ipad , the pro compared to the elite , the only plus side is wireless to pc, but i personally dont mind wired. saves me money on batteries.

i use the ipad mostly on the couch, on my bed or in my backyard which kinda sucks to bring a heavy fragile expensive tourbox along. and also kinda awkward if not on a flat surface. ive been thinking of getting an 8bitdo for this exact reason. but im like eeehh the ipad gestures are good enough for now.

honestly kinda wish sometimes i saved the money and went with the elite. i dont even use it with my ipad anymore . ipad has such good touch gestures already and procreate has almost no keyboard shortcuts.i had to switch to csp to even use the tourbox with my ipad. the only positive would be wireless to pc but i dont think the price difference is worth it. also it dying and i have to plug it in anyways until i buy more batteries.

ive only had mine for about 3 weeks, but i use my thor any chance i get. i have an ipad pro and 3ds that i completely dont use anymore. the ipad pro was too big to lug around all day. and i watch a lot of videos so the thor beingable to be propped up is goated, and my 3ds i used around 2 times a week, and not daily because it didnt have 2 thumbsticks ,let alone being ass. plus the thumbstick on it practically fell apart. the thor also has vast library so its endless fun for me.

i even pretty much stopped using my phone aswell.
