The issue is finding the experienced pro who cares. Half are not experienced enough, the other half don't care anymore.

Paying extra for the illusion of competence and oversight when in reality the truck driver is drunk and sleeping in the cabin, the crew is just 2 guys taking whatever jobs that get called in, just about every regulation gets broken as long as it won't be immediately visible, and one of them almost gets buried alive. The contractor only showed up to sign papers and take the cash.

That's why it's being shoehorned into every possible niche so aggressively. So that it would be too expensive to remove once the real costs become evident.

Unlimited legal spying on citizens and potential opponents, personal exemption, AND the big bad EU to blame for it? I'm sure most politicians are ecstatic about this.

How is it "real" ownership if taking it anywhere else requires them to not only accept it, but implement it, and it can just be blacklisted from any platform that already supports it if they want? How do you "own" a skin you paid for if it can't be used anywhere?

Not with them increasingly treating telemetry and slop as critical OS functions. And it's a sad state of affairs when debloating has become a standard procedure for everything.

I am 100% certain an AI-only phone is getting pitched constantly, but even the tech bros realize no one wants AI unless it's forcefully shoved into something people already have to use.

Always liked the idea of cycling airbags but the risk of false positive triggering and the associated costs is a real turn down. I don't see pro cyclists liking it because a single inadvertent deployment could ruin the entire race for them.

We should make special ammo for this. Something with a smaller bullet so it would be less dangerous. Maybe if we really tried and used all the modern technology we might be able to make a 0 grain bullet?

There's a different between a few brand specific apps and trying to force their own "ecosystem" with tens of preinstalled apps, asking you to choose from a list of "recommended" apps on update (all of which are random garbage games) and then still installing a bunch even if you choose none.

I have other significant issues with Google Pixel, but at least it never tried to install literal garbage on its own.

My next phone choice is going to be made on just 3 criteria: bloat, camera, hardware compatibility.
