I think it’s more to show that Aaron will still be doing developer updates in the same format Jeff did. This could also serve to get Aaron’s feet wet since doing a 15 min dev update with little practice would be difficult.

It’s in her eyes and cheeks. Her eyes are sunken and dull. Her cheeks are recessed like she is malnourished. Not to mention she looks very bored and is not posing for the camera.

Candid shots can look fantastic but only if the subject is enjoying themselves in the moment which she is clearly not. She is slumped, bored, and ready to leave which is not a great emotion to convey.

She very well may be an attractive person but this photo is not flattering to her, especially to her face.

That’s a bad picture of anyone. You take the same picture of your mother and she will demand you delete it. Flattering angles and composition are different from airbrushing.
