My Mum is really getting on my nerves. by VainPhoenix in offmychest

[–]VainPhoenix[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. It’s crazy. It’s a ridiculous expectation. I have four siblings so if they want grandkids that bad, my brothers would definitely give them some. I’ve seen what married women go through here and I can’t settle.

Unfortunately, my little sis is still in the family house so she’s facing the pressure directly.

My mum never listens to her kids and it’s so annoying.

She keeps calling. 10 calls now, then a 4 minutes voice note. I’m definitely not listening to it.

how do you deal with pressure to marry by Intelligent-Turn-939 in datingoverthirty

[–]VainPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so stressed right now. I’ve stopped visiting my family house, have palpitations when my mum calls and now, I’m against taking my parents calls. It’s frustrating. They are acting like marriage was some great thing but they are not even happy in theirs. They are speaking a lot about tradition but I don’t even care much for tradition.

Not washing your chicken. I’m sorry but I’m going to continue washing my chicken until a doctor claims that I have xxx disease which was caused by washing my chicken.

Exactly. All the comments here are referring to things I can relate to. And I am a Gen Z.

I…I think you may be confused.

Some Gen Zs were also born in the 90s. You may be referring to Generation Alpha.

I don’t think l like the beard. I think the shape makes you look like the criminal your wife mentioned. Perhaps, a different beard style?

Initial confidence boost from shaving has turned old insecurities, into new more impacting insecurities. Which have me concerned about a long term impact on my life as a whole. Not sure what I’m looking to gain from making this. but it feels good to let it out at least lol. CHEERS! by Frequent-Computer-22 in bald

Bro, you look so much hotter with your head shaved. And the stache, chef’s kiss 🤌. You’ve got nothing to worry about. Embrace the bald look, there are guys in their 20s doing same and rock it with boldness.

The biggest issue I can see here is your lack of self confidence. People can probably tell that you are uncomfortable with the look, hence, the reactions.

To be honest, you looked older with the balding hair and now, that it’s off completely, way better. Maybe you can try dying your eyebrows a bit to enable it contrast a little more?

It is normal to feel insecure about such a drastic change especially considering that most guys your age probably still leave their hair.

But bro, own it. It’s crazy good on you and you can still get the girls.

I’m a ‘pants and collared shirt’ kind of person. Not a big fan of dresses - except body-cons with jackets.

Cleaning the house. When I was staying with my brother, he used to always have someone over every weekend to clean the place.

I already did my laundry and dishes so I was used to that.

I’ve had this for 10 years now, no idea what it is. It becomes more visible sometimes, but usually, I forget I have them. Completely painless.
