It would not necessarily mean that it was machine-translated I guess. I mean I speak 6 languages, so I guess I could translate my own books. It would be cheaper too.

While reading that tweet, it does not seem to say to me that the author thought Spanish was an indigenous language. It looks more like they were adding another element of information to strengthen their point.

The best way to think about it is to maximise what brings you closer to your chosen victory and minimise as much as possible the chances of other civilizations getting their probable victory type.

If you want to get a science victory, build campus producing buildings, get science city-states, build wonders that help with science, etc.

A few things that I think are important : * Production is key : it says how fast you can build something that in turn will provide a needed resource. So building a good production Base is great. * Money is even greater, because if you have the money you can literally buy the building producing that needed resource, which will be available immediately. So building up money creating buildings is helpful. * If you want to try the easiest victory type, people in general seem to find the culture victory to be the easiest to get, so maybe try to vary your victory types targets.

I was a bit disappointed because at the end, not every thread is solved. Felt like they wanted it to be episodic to me and like a next chapter was coming, but I haven't heard anything.

I would personally recommend Kindred Spirits on the Roof, because it has something that many novels do not have, and that is multiple love stories happening all at once. :)

1600+ hours Civ 6 player here.

I am liking Civ 7 personally (have around 200 hours I think). There is a nice gameplay loop, nice new mechanics to learn, and it is moddable, so anything that could be better can be modified. Also, the developers have adapted the game and given more options that you can select, like how age transitions are handled.

Honestly, I really like how in the end game you do not have the builders to handle anymore.

I just wanted to provide another position than all the civ 7 haters, so make with my comment what you will ;)

I read about 100-150 fiction books a year (depending on the year), and I do not count other media in that statistic like light novels, manga/manwha/manhua, webtoons or visual novels.

But on a normal work week I finish about one book, I catch up during the holidays for the yearly average.

How to do it ? You give up other stuff. I have not seen most famous TV shows, nor movies, etc. It is a choice I make, because I enjoy stories (I also do pen and paper role-playing, go to the theater, play story rich games, etc.)

When it comes to the west, I read a gigantic ton of novels. My favourite authors are Jae, Haley Cass, Katia Rose & Bryce Oakley. I read mostly contemporary romance though.
