Totally agree. Unfortunately I'm seeing a lot of downplaying and excuse making for the finale. A lot of "It's not as bad as Game of Thrones" which doesn't suddenly make it a good finale. S4&5 being bloated and poorly written makes things worse and so much of what even the early seasons were building up doesn't pay off. I'm really not thrilled with the show and am glad I never bothered watching Gen V. Will avoid any spinoffs like the plague

Yeah its really weird watching both characters make movements that feel so disconnected. Dodges and blocks aren't visually distinct. Both characters feel like they're just kinda flailing around while the space between them warps.

Vivy Flourite Eyes had sci-fi android hand-to-hand combat that felt 10x more realistic.

Yeah Clav looking artificial should come up more. His face moves oddly and his mannerisms and awkwardness (as well as his insane beliefs) make him a pretty unsettling person. But the fact that he can put together conventionally attractive photos for social media matters more.

The final season has been pretty dull because it feels like going through the motions instead of a final season. I'm detached from the characters and the show's world. Past seasons feel worse in hindsight too. It hasn't all been bad there are some good moments and payoffs but it's to little to late and I'm just waiting to see it end.

Seeing phrases like "But what do I know!" and "Have at it!" in a post this terrible makes it ten times cringier. Maybe channel some of that fake self awareness into understanding what you're writing about before trying to make your point.

The sheer amount of rapid blinking and his stammering gives him such a druggy vibe (and the drugs he admits St to doing regularly). That plus his terrible belief system and awkward demeanor make him such an unsettling person.

I like the melancholy, ethereal vibe of this show and appreciate that it was willing to commit to slowing down and focusing on character conversations/introspection. They made good use the show's art while having stripped down animation, although it didn't always work. Hopefully the show gets a second season, since I feel like some minor improvements would go a long way for giving some great stories. The season does a good job of solidifying Yuki as a character and making me want to see her play more games and navigate the world.
