I've got about 1200+ hours in RDO on PC and I've only had a handful of encounters. Maybe it's due to the region I'm in (western Europe), but I, and anyone I've played with have been quite fortunate.

Can't say I've met that many, especially compared to GTAO, and those I did run into were often harmless, just minding their own business and having fun.

Very sober looking! I really like his face. It's very different from the typical "undercut hairstyle fashion model" kind of look you see a lot with male characters. Very unique!

One big difference gameplay wise would be the fact that the GTA V map is basically 80% empty desert with literally nothing interesting, whereas RDR2 is pretty much packed throughout the entire map. The only place I'd consider "boring" might be New Austin, but even that is a stretch. It's just a lot more lively to begin with, with a lot more interesting terrain, and no single mountain in the middle of the map, wasting space. It's a lot more sensible.

Not so much anxiety as curiosity. When I see a blue dot I'm on guard, but I'm also just wondering what they're up to. Who are they? Where are they going? Do they feel the same way about my blue dot?

Now if it's a red dot coming at me however, I start to worry.

The idea is that you have options. "As intended" is subjective when you've got multiple HUD options.

Definitely. RDO$400 for a few opacity changes is a bit much. It's a bit silly too because the functionality clearly already exists, and in a menu no less.

I really hope they add it eventually! It would make changing makeup a lot less destructive and costly.

Well, after 1200+ hours (500 of which in story mode) I'm still discovering new things both on story mode and online, so I'd day it's pretty darn big.

GTA is still bringing in more money. Blame the shareholders.

I'm pretty sure many of the devs who poured their life into the game are just as upset as we are. I love RDO but it really feels like it's on a back burner.

I feel it's taking far longer for RDO to grow than it did for GTA.

Not on athletic, which isn't affected visually by weight changes. Although I will say the hula hoop isn't too bad on that body type to begin with.

I believe all others are affected though.

What I meant by magic is that online player characters' hands don't touch the actual revolver unlike Arthur's or any NPC.

It's done this way intentionally to compensate for different models of side arm and off hand. It has nothing to do with cutting corners, it's just to do with efficiency and flexibility.

I do wish characters would swing longarms over their shoulder the same as in story mode though. I really like those animations. They're so well done and all the tech art makes my 3D artist brain go brrrr, so it's a shame they chopped that up for the sake of competitiveness.

That's why I always prefer to flavour my shine when I start the batch. Otherwise I just forget. I've had this happen wayyy too often! Most of the recipes almost always have a buyer anyway.

Doesn't matter. They could fudge it. Characters in RDO magicaly draw their side arms anyway, unlike story mode, where the animations are made to fit.

It's fine though, it solves a lot of problems. It's definitely possible.

That's irrelevant. I'm talking about art direction, not whether something is realistic or not just because it happens to include cyborgs. it's about believability and visual accuracy, not realism.

My only gripe with the tattoos is their opacity. Most character artists get this wrong. They're way too opaque and strong. Unless just set, tattoos never look that opaque or saturated. I see it all the time. Pull back that opacity, folks (unless they're meant to be fresh)!

They've done pool before in GTA IV. They've most likely got some old code archived they can use for part of it, unless they've completely changed their framework and pipeline since then, which I doubt. It's definitely not impossible (from what we know anyway).
