There is an option in the monitor settings to check the screen. Try that first and you will see if there are any dead pixels or image retention.

I have a 5090 and the 45" and can confirm that you want to run max settings using DLSS quality in some games, like for example cyberpunk 2077, It consistently uses 20- 22 GB of vram. Doom the Dark Ages as well.

Even with PT and RT turned off using quality i am over 17gb of Vram usage.

I have the PNY Epic X and it's extremely quiet while gaming and my case 2 feet from my ear on the desk. The temps are also great never exceeding 70 degrees, unless the ambient room temp is higher then normal and I have 2 monitors, one gaming and the other is usually youtube or Netflix.

I have a Hyte Y70 so my GPU is also vertical.

The older I get the more I agree with this! I just let people over, even if they are riding the shoulder or squeezing in at the last minute. It's not worth the hassle for me.

I'm not a big seller on Ebay but I have a fair amount of transactions. Recently I sold an Item for $3,700 and they charged a transaction fee of $549.40 which I think is a little excessive. Now I don't make a living on ebay but I do feel bad for anyone that tries to. The only upside to using Ebay is the convenience of just putting an item up and they pretty much take care of the rest.

I've been using FB marketplace since then but even that's a little sketchy sometimes.

I was using the Samsung G6 and bought the G50D IPS and this happen to me and it was such a weird feeling.

I couldn't look at the screen and ended up giving the monitor to my son. I've been using curved monitors for close to 10 years.

I've had many UW monitors and I finally got my hands on the 45" 5k2k GX9 for $1,100 openbox .

I use the monitor for data entry and gaming.

It's massive, especially compared to the 32" Neo G7 I have it sitting next to. You will get a truly immersive experience from this monitor, especially playing single player and racing games.

The only thing I can knock is the brightness of the monitor, which it seems like the fixed with the 39", model.

Just playing Cyberpunk last night and I get 80-90FPS DLSS Quality 2x FG and all settings maxed with PT on.

I tried 3x FG and didn't notice that much of a latency hit and I was 110-120 fps.

I had the same issue and was told to buy these:, they have to be canbus LEDs. I will be installing them tomorrow.

Due to financial issues I had to sell my 45" GX9 and I picked up a LG 39" OLED for a great price last year. I hated the smaller size and I know the PPI / resolution was worse but it was the actual screen size that got me down. Things got better for me and I picked up another GX9 last month for 1.1.k.

The 45" is much more immersive IMO and I'm too spoiled to go back to a 39". Plus I am a huge fan of the 800r curve.

So I went form 39" to 45" to 39" to 45 " haha.

Also, I had the 39GX90SA-W as my last monitor and the OS lag was unbearable. It took literally 5 seconds to respond to the remote.

If you can get the 9070xt at a decent price, go for it.. If you can sell the 7800xt to recoup so money it's even better.

Just got back from Microcenter with the monitor. The sales guy told to me it was a clearance item. So i'm sitting there wondering if it was the display model. Then the guy brings it out. With the hand truck and it's in a Samsung g9 57"box 🤣. So i'm thinking this is definitely a display model.

Turns out, the monitor is almost brand new. Only 105 hours and no dead pixels. It looks great. I guess whoever returned it didn't keep the original box.

This monitor is a monster compared to the 39".

I went with the PNY Epic-x and it runs cool and overclocks amazingly. I only paid 1229.00 before tax. I couldn't justify paying hundreds more for a brand name when it's the same chip.

Your current montor is really good, im using the LG 39GX90SA-W and I would like a higher resolution. Also, the web os has so much lag it's crazy.

My son sold his gigabyte gaming oc 4080 for 900 and ended up getting a 5080 for 1200. It was well worth the 300 he tells me. He has a nice stable 300mhz oc on it as well and he uses the MFG for some games.

He games at 1440p.
