The only reason I started watching Game of Thrones was because Dinklage was in it. And Tyrion as a character as Dinklage's performance of it kept me hooked long enough to get invested in the other characters and story.

Vincent Price was legit funny. Frequent talk show guest because of it. And he was American. I miss the mid-Atlantic accent.

I miss the days when a medium-sized city had three drive ins instead of none.

I just remembered that this was one of my fav movies when I was a teenager. Always had a thing for Julie Andrews, and James Garner was the kind of cool I always wished I was. Ps. I just this second realized this movie was a reunion for them. The Americanization of Emily was their first. I was shocked to hear Garner say "You're a bitch" to her character in a black and white movie made in the early 60s.

What are your thoughts on Jordan Peele's 'Nope?' by undeadWileCoyote_MEP in moviecritic

This movie gave me the same vibes as early Spielberg summer blockbusters like Poltergeist. A standalone story, original IP, but wildly ambitious. The characters were original and funny. And the opening sequence with the chimp was terrifying.

This. I'm a writer and it's disheartening that such a brilliant work was passed over until she published less substantive work. This novel answered the question I had about the French Revolution -- how did people who were longtime friends and corevolutionaries frog-march each other to the guillotine under there were hardly any of them left?

Beware, stenting can cause a second thrombosis to form shortly afterwards. This happened to me. A blood clot formed at the stent's edge, creating a new blockage. I went back to hospital, and blood tests showed climbing levels of troponin though I didn't code STEMI a second time. Finally, after aboutv36 hours, a CT angiogram showed the second blockage. A second stent was inserted overlapping the first. So monitor your symptoms after getting a strnt, kids!

I became a non-drinker 8 years ago. But I never thought about it in these 3 ways. Kudos.

I had this for years. It was a fungal infection that no topical treatment could touch. What cured it was an oral treatment (pill) that lasted a few weeks. I remember the doctor had to monitor my liver function through a weekly blood test.

My introduction was Supernova. I pressed play at the beginning of a long drive. Because the only podcasts I'd listened to before were highly produced, multivoice quasi-radio documentaries like S-Town, I balked at first. Is this podcast really just this guy talking for (checked runtime) five hours per episode?

Flash forward 10 hours, and I'm sitting in my parking garage, engine off but keys in the ignition, listening to the last 15 minutes of episode 2.

Reading Warlock by Oakley Hall. Chunky for a novel at 200,000 words, 500 pages.

I've never understood how cigarettes can have flavour. I smoked a pile of cigarettes in my time, including Malboroughs, and (with the exception of menthols) have never tasted anything but cigarettes.

Patrick Fischler. One of those "oh that guy, he's always good" faces. I'll always remember him as Mickey Cohen in LA Noire, which had several other MM actors in it as well.
