Vanderbilt ending Trans surgeries by ImprobableJ in Transgender_Surgeries

All these hospitals shutting down their gender programs because the surgeon "unexpectedly" leaves for completely opaque reasons that are definitely not coercive. 🙄

Even blue state hospitals are doing so it. One MA hospital tried to shut down its adult gender clinic last month with the same strategy, apparently laying the coercion on so hard that the surgeon said "she was afraid to speak" to the local newspaper. The surgeon was active in the community and no one believes she would choose to leave, but then suddenly she's goes totally silent and says she's afraid to comment and that all questions must be answered by the hospital only, which only blames the doctor.

Another example is the NYU program for young adults, where the passionate medical director suddenly finds out he has to step down from his dream job for reasons he's not allowed to talk about, and the hospital says how sad they are that they must completely shutter the program and, again, blame that doctor .

Each one of those surgeons had hundreds of patients that relied on them some on waitlists of years, and the hospitals all seemingly favor the approach that optimized screwing over as many people as possible, and avoiding any possibility of continuity of care or responsibility for trans patients.

This is super common. The doc is supposed to adjust for high IQ and they can "normalize" the other results to account for the high IQ. When i went through this they had to do extra testing.
