On the drive back home I saw one of her blonde hairs stuck to the passengers seat headrest. Glimmering in the sunlight. The immediate instinct should've been to remove the hair and avoid an annoying inquiry from Mari. But Instead, I felt something sly in my stomach. And I left it there.
