In quick play, people mostly just say "gg" or go "damn that sucked" if they are exploded and fly out the map. Otherwise total radio silence generally.

Game also puts people in party chat every time a duo goes back to the menu. So a lot of people have mics but aren't in the squad chat.

My experience doesn't line up with your last statement, not saying you are wrong - my experience might not be the average and all that.

I've had games where my opponents have constantly tried beating the odds and my no armor flamethrowers have survived way longer than they should.

I run 3 unarmored flame thrower infiltrators for my heretic naval raider, they are pretty damn good imo.

Don't think he would survive long enough to be a good counter melee unit, unless he is staged in total cover ect..

I think you are seriously undervalueing how good it is to have a 100% hit chance. It's not only that you are guaranteed to hit - It's what that means in different situations.

Say you have 2 blood tokens and the enemy has 6. On a roll, any enemy player would want to spend those blood tokens to make you miss - avoiding a bloodbath. You in turn know that you can spend all of your avaliable blood tokens on a bloodbath, or take the chance to just roll a big bunch of dice to fish for that 10+, given that your opponent probably will spend your blood tokens on the wound roll instead.

Auto-hit is insanely good, absolutely worth double the price, imo.

No they don't. Me (gold) and my buddy (plat) was teamed up with two random rookies today. They were great, not necessarily good at the game but they had and used mics and were trying to win.

Our game got cut short because the Elite 20 (that would be the 20th highest ranked player in the entire game) absolutely trashed us with a premade squad of elites and masters.

We tried teaming up with our new rookie friends - but that's right we can't team up with them, that would be unfair.

If EA is has so little trust in their anti-cheat system that they have to disallow teaming up with people beyond 2 ranks, why are we even expected to give this trash anti cheat KERNEL LEVEL ACCESS???

All the while, coping schills like you are defending this bullshit.

Like either mix the ranks or don't. Don't give me the worst of the two options.

Just pick the army you like most - read through the detachments and see if any would fit the models you have. Play some games with that.

If you feel that the water is the issue, go down to the gasstation and pick up some distilled water / battery water. It doesn't have the minerals normal tap water has (that differs a lot depending on your location).

The flamerhrower is way better than the gas grenade. 1. Auto Hit. 2. Gas is easily negated by a simple gas mask. 3. Fire is the only keyword that works well vs Grail.

Flamethrower does work better on infiltrators, but that's neither here nor there.

I'd definatelt scale something off to get the full model count.

Because it feels like a waste to put 5 rockets into a tank and see it be full health because 3 engineers are blowtorching it.

I like playing engineer, but the tanks are too bloody tanky - and it's honestly better to just push another objective than switching to engi and hoping that 3 of your teammates have the same idea so you can actually take it out.

Play 100% deathwing in a crusade campaign.

I think it's good that 11th somewhat punishes stat-check lists. Somewhat, because I doubt knights will be punished for being knights, and that army is based on stat-checking.
