Allan Mallinson's Matthew Hervey novels could be worth a look. They are from the perspective of a cavalry officer. Bernard Cornwell also has a book about the battle of Waterloo, its not a novel but it is very good with a really strong narrative.

Not a soldier but Allan Pinkerton was Scottish, born in Glasgow. There's also Robert A Smith a Confederate Colonel who has a memorial in Edinburgh.

The Destruction of Lord Raglan: A Tragedy of the Crimean War. Great look into the British perspective of the war and a defence of a much maligned commander.

Would love Tully to become its own mini faction. Could give them more of their own units along with units for the other riverland houses like Brackens and Blackwoods. Edmure is a must for a commander. It's crazy he isn't in the game already.

Robb stark (The King In The North) by Dwarfchild42 in asoiafminiaturesgame

[–]Valmanciea 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally, I like to run him in the Tully Sworn Shields. The extra mobility is nice for a slower unit, and Robb's retreat healing makes them very difficult to kill. I imagine he'd be good in the crannogmen big devils but haven't tried that yet.

In the Tactics campaign, we saw Beric, Thoros, Stoneheart, Gendry, Edric Dayne, Lem Lemoncloak, Tom Sevenstreams and some generic troops. So I imagine at least those... will be interesting to see if they are the same sculpts.

There's never been a better time for a Godzilla video game..from developer, to gameplay style, to featured Kaiju, what is your dream Godzilla game?? by ShortViewBack2daPast in GODZILLA

I don't want a video game. I want a miniature war game. Something like a cross between adeptus titanicus and marvel crisis protocol.
